I've got a pending charge on my card now, my delivery window is still 22-29th, but I'm hoping to see some movement soon. (Unbinned Max, 2TB, 64GB, to UK)
The binned max processor is the 14CPU/30GPU model, the unbinned one is the 16/40 config. The binned versions are ones that had faulty cores in production, so those cores are disabled. It's a common practice in chip manufacture to prevent waste. Intel and AMD do the same thing.
When did you order? I ordered the same config for the 16" on the 2nd, est. delivery Nov 15-17, still in processing.
Just a general note for silver lovers looking for a Max - there appears to be big shipments of these into stores. Literally every Apple store in the LA area has them available on Monday.

I had the same config in black. JUST saw 1 show up as available for delivery today from a nearby Apple Store, so canceled my preorder and waiting for the store order delivery.
I ordered my 14” max 12/18 2TB SSD on 11/2. In the last day, it went to preparing to ship. Originally estimated to arrive 11/20-11/22. Hopefully I’ll be here sooner. Coming from a perfectly usable MBA M1 but I need more performance for photo editing and handling raw files.
Just came in clutch with in store pickup today for the 16" M3 Max 14/30 36GB RAM 1TB SSD in Black. Looks like my store only had 1 left and I got it!
Head's up - there appears to be a Black 16" Max drop today, see several stores in the LA area with both configs.

I just checked, there’s 4 stores in the Los Angeles area with that config in stock.
Just ordered the maxed out 16 pro max from Memphis Apple Store. Going to return the one I ordered yesterday sometime over the weekend.
Just ordered the M3 max, curious to know if it will ship with Sonoma or Ventura. I did read somewhere that some some models are shipping with older software. Any Max peeps that could comment would be appreciated as my current MBP is running very well (slowly) on Ventura, so if I can stay on Ventura I will.
Yeah I saw that, it's weird. They must have been sitting on these machines for almost three months. I believe the reports are mainly on the M3 base models. Maybe this was when they realised the yield issues changed the plan.
