Mine just shipped and it says “Arriving Soon Nov 12”. I hope I get it on launch day 🥲
Interesting mine still shows "preparing to ship" but estimated delivery of Nov 8th...

After a lot of silly to-ing and fro-ing (including buying a 'refurbished' M1 Pro 14 10/16 which was no such thing, and even had a potentially fatal error during a software update, then buying a 'new' version from Amazon which was DOA [which I managed to resuscitate but eventually returned due to battery and other issues]), yesterday I picked up a M3 MacBook Pro with 16GB of RAM and 1TB HD. After reviewing my activity monitor on various systems over the past weeks, I saw I did not need the power of the pro chip. This was on offer at Best Buy for $1399 ! I will enjoy having the newest chip for the next day and a half. 🙃 Keeping this one for sure - Apple Care + purchased.
Hope all the M4 people enjoy your machines! (Is this post too long for this section? 😁)

I ended up buying this bad boy right here. Upgrading from a mid-2017 13 inch pro model with 3.5g. Computer still runs but battery is **** and gets hot when I run stream games on it. Upgraded the ssd from 1 to 2 because I see having it for a while and want to be able to move without needing my external drive all the time. Shipping date shows November 20-22th but I’m hoping I get it sooner once the release begins.

Mine is still preparing for November 8th... where are the first impression videos of the new Macs? The election has Apple keeping the embargo up?

Ordered a Base M4 MacBook Pro through the Education store on the 30th around 4 hours after orders opened with a delivery date of November 8th. Still showing as “Preparing to ship”. Based in the UK if anyone is in a similar position? What courier is used in the UK?

I'm trying to order a M4 Pro from the Apple store but when I go to check out it just says, " Your order is only available for delivery". Before checkout it says in store pick up on 11/8. I tried a few other laptops and it says the same thing for every single model. Not sure what to do now.

Have you checked with UPS My Choice? I have the same delivery date and mine is currently in transit to Louisville. Once in Louisville it will be processed by US Customs. Once customs is cleared the status at Apple will change to Shipped.

I hope to get mine by Friday as well, I think it's really odd because I placed my order within hours after the release.
That is pretty typical for items for delivery launch day, at least within the US. (I notice many in this thread are outside the US, and they've received shipping info for delivery weeks in advance.)

Mine was ordered within single digit minutes after the MacBooks went live on the store and still shows as Preparing to Ship. That's normal.

It is Wednesday night where I am. I expect status will update sometime within 0 - 24 hours from now with tracking info (likely overnight FedEx/UPS delivery). If I had to give a more specific guess, I would bet I see the status change Thursday afternoon/evening, so about 16 -24 hours from now, with delivery Friday mid-day.

Good luck to all!

That was unexpected. My MacBook Pro has been scanned in China with a Friday delivery date. Much sooner than the 11/21-11/26 window which is great.

My address is a business address so I cannot use UPS My Choice to check packages. Let’s see if Apple will update the tracking info today

Still saying 12th November for my delivery (placed a couple of minutes after launch). Disappointing, considering it was shipped on Tuesday, a full week before, and had departed China as of last night.

I placed my order on 30th October, but on Friday 1st I decided the cancel and order a better spec. This initially triggered a “fraud alert” and blocked my card, requiring a phone call to my bank to unblock it.

Shortly thereafter, the payment was shown on my card as “pending” and my available credit went down by the same amount.

It’s been that way now for several days while the order went “preparing to ship”. The order is STILL “preparing to ship” but it’s taken so long that the pending payment has dropped off the card and the available credit has returned to what it was before.

I don’t know whether them trying to take the payment again will flag the same fraud alert and block the card again, meaning it wont get shipped now.

I’ve only purchased items of this value a couple of times in the past, and they’ve never taken so long in “preparing to ship”.

Sure, mine already left China so I hope until tomorrow it's here. I'm so excited, it's my first Mac :)
