You guys need to learn to stop asking questions and trust @Mlrollin91 and what he says
LOL not so sure about that. May want to look back a bit. There were several "This is the last beta...." bam a new one dropped. Or "Wont see it today because never before........" and BAM new release or beta. Or "wont happen because never on x day......" BAM dropped. So never can tell what Apple may do on any given day. Just sayin. :)

In all fairness I have been right significantly more often then not. I've been doing this for 4+ years now and it wasn't until this year that the curveballs from Apple changed things. But I have adapted quickly. ;)

Edit for typo.

Upon further reflection, I think the fact that iOS did not get a beta when WatchOS and MacOS does indicate that new iOS-based products will be announced tomorrow morning (or sometime this week) via press release. The lack of a beta suggests to me that Apple is done with 10.3, for better or worse, but is still working on the other OSes (which don't have any product shipping deadlines associated with them).

Means that while we may not see a 10.4, we may see a 10.3.1.

Or, beta 8 is not ready yet and will be released tomorrow...

If it were not for the Apple Store "maintenance" period tomorrow morning, I'd have an easier time agreeing with you.

When has an iPhone/iPad ever come from Apple Store maintenance?? I can tell you when, never. Only minor Mac spec bumps.

And if the Spaceship Campus were done, I'd agree with you again. I just think they're too close to WWDC and don't want to do an event. No invites yet.

Not to mention, this has been the year Apple has broken most of the "never done that" taboos.

But again, you are talking about a flagship device. Something that has not been updated in well over a year now (12.9" model). They aren't going to do a a press release for such a big product. iPods, Mac or even an iPad Mini, fine. I would agree with you, but not an iPad Pro.
[doublepost=1490031610][/doublepost]But regardless we got betas today, meaning watchOS and macOS are not ready for public release and those typically go hand in hand with iOS.

Bear in mind, I don't think any totally new products will show up tomorrow, but spec bumps, sure, that's possible. And any updated MBs could be announced tomorrow and released in 10-14 days, so in that case, a beta today makes sense.

We'll know in about 19 hours!

Yes we will. (Sorry if I come off as harsh, this is just intense and fun!)

Seems like there was one iPad refresh that popped in in March and folks were PO'ed because they had just purchased a few months earlier. Didnt that one appear with no event tied to it? Maybe iPad 3 ??? Or iPad 4 released then a refresh 4 with no number??

iPad 3 was launched in March with an event, then iPad 4 was launched in Sept/October of the same year with an event.

How about tomorrow at 1pm? If Apple announces refreshed iPad Pro's, that's my guess.

One could a assume a timetable like:

3/21 - iOS 10.3 Beta 8
3/24 - Preoder of new hardware released after Apple Store outage
3/27 - iOS 10.3 / macOS 10.12.4 / watchOS 3.2 / tvOS 10.2 release
3/31 - Release of new hardware announced in tomorrow's press Release

So what will the new iPad have as iOS? They can't release a new product with a beta software..

Apple likely already has a release candidate version of 10.3, that might only get changed if there are any significant bugs found in Beta 8. I do agree with @sunny2k1 's timeline (or something close to it), as it makes a lot of sense.

i maintain that if there are new ipads and if there is going to be an event-- then it will be in the new "spaceship" HQ which is nowhere near being completed according to web reports.. therefore there are many opportunities for many more betas... which will fix many of the bugs being described in this thread. i do not think we are close to a GM at all

It doesn't have to be at Apple Park.
