I ahve a Pentax K10 camera, and I really love it, is way better constructed than the Canon Xti or the cheap nikons (d40-50, even de d80). Is a heavy camera, but is water sealed, alloy body, no plastic. You should definetly go for the pentax (maybe the K20d, what a great super machine). Ok the camera is heavy but I have shot continously for hours, and I dont have a big hand or arm.
Considering you have lenses already, go for it, you will not regret it. Look the net, the pentax dslr have Superb reviews.

I'm not sure who you're addressing, but if it's me, then I should draw your attention to post #45, in which I stated I had already purchased the new Canon XSi. I ruled out Pentax after trying my best to wield my husband's K100D, which is just too heavy for me. I have a touch of carpal tunnel and really feel the weight of a camera in my right wrist. The Canon is still going to be a bit uncomfortable when I use heavier lenses, but the Pentax was that much worse for me. I have great respect for Pentax, though.

Nothing really bad about it--I love my new XSi! It's a terrific camera and is making me very happy.
