Totally doable.Hey Gang! I'm hoping you all can help me! I didn't see it in the forums but maybe I missed it.
I own 1 switch. Under my Nintendo ID, I've downloaded several digital games (Arms, MarioKart, Go Vacation, Just Dance)
I'm considering buying a 2nd Switch but I don't want to have to re-buy all the games and I understand there's a way to share games.
Will I be able to play Just Dance on Switch One and MarioKart on Switch Two simultaneously or how do I manage that well? Any help would be appreciated!
I’d really like an official GameCube controller for the Switch.
Totally doable. You'll want to read up on this for specific instructions: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSw...s_a_diagram_i_made_showing_how_you_can_share/
Nope, this is separate from Nintendo Online.ok, so my concern was that when Primary started playing it would pause secondary even if on different game. but it looks like as long as I download the game from my profile then kid one uses their profile and kid two uses their profile it should be ok.
From all the reading though I'm still not sure if doing this requires a paid online subscription?
Oh, I should mention that you might be confused on the accounts: In order for your purchases to be played, your kid would need to use your account on a secondary console. That means your purchases aren't able to be played by kid #2 at the same time.ok, so my concern was that when Primary started playing it would pause secondary even if on different game. but it looks like as long as I download the game from my profile then kid one uses their profile and kid two uses their profile it should be ok.

Watch Wario64 on Twitter for deals, he just posted the Odyssey and Zelda are $45 each: https://twitter.com/Wario64/status/1072195423031386114Any good deals on a Switch and/or additional controllers and/or games (mostly looking for Mario Odyssey, Zelda and Mario Party)?
I think I'm going to trade some Wii-U games to Amazon (use the trade credit towards a few accessories and a game, then sell the console/MK8 bundle on Swappa, but just looking for the best option between now and Christmas.
In the past we've just gone out and bought the next iteration of various consoles, but that's led to a closet with a Wii, XB360, PS2, PS3 ... figured I'd optimize this round![]()
Bought Smash and really addicted to it.
Haven't really played one since the original one (played only a few days the DS XL version). So much to learn, but it's always exciting.
Some online matches do have a lot of lag though. Terrible. It's also really hard to know what's going on at times when there's so much chaos and stuff happening
I like 1 on 1 battles better, where I can truly show my skills in a more "controlled" environment.
I'll buy the Ethernet adapter to see if it improves online lag.
Ok, so I think I’ve decided between Starlink and Diablo 3, I’m putting Diablo 3 on my Christmas list..
Has anyone played it on the Switch at all? I’ve seen a lot of gameplay videos and it seems to run really well. I remember when they used the game to benchmark the first retina MacBook Pro as it just came out at the same time lol.
Also is the Pro Controller worth it? Kinda deciding if I want one?
There are already rumors of a new switch. Too soon!
https://gamerant.com/nintendo-switc...//gamerant.com/nintendo-switch-revision-2019/
I do think 2019 is too soon, as that would be just 2 years after the original release, and Nintendo appear to go for a 3 year cycle with their portables I believe. Then again, cell phones, which is half their competition I think, gets major updates once a year, so it may be possible. But despite their products working perfectly for what they bought it to be, there's bound to be some customers who will be mad about a quick update.
The rumors could of course just be regarding a minor hardware revision to lower production costs, and change a few minor problems with the current design.
I could see them releasing a lower cost Switch ( a few sites have floated the idea of a Switch Mini ) maybe something to replace the 3DS, without removable joycons, and without a dock. The 3DS XL was released 18 months after the initial 3DS, so a new format isn’t without precedence.
Without removable joycons I would think would create a manufacturing nightmare as now there has to be two separate production lines for the Switch...
I wouldn’t have thought multiple lines would be a problem for Nintendo.... I think an additional format would be the more sensible option, surely even Nintendo aren’t daft enough to think even a small percentage of existing users would drop another 300 dollars / pounds on a marginally upgraded model ( I don’t think the New 3DS worked out well ). I wouldn’t. I’d certainly splurge on a Switch “Mini”, though ( image from Nintendolife ).
