That's cool, how did you go about importing Okami and about how much $ did it come out to? (Haven't imported before.)

Been using play-asia(which is in Hong Kong) for well over a decade to buy different-region gaming things. Total came to around $38(including shipping) for Okami(Switch).

Cheers

How's Mario tenis? Considering it because of the sale, but it was never really on my radar before.

at $36 with GCU I think its worth it. I wouldn't pay approaching $60 for it tho

its fun for online pick up games. a little unbalanced. not the best online system, but what switch game is in general?

Smooth gameplay and I like the simple mode I haven't owned a tennis game for years

So i've been wondering about the switch as a mobile gaming device. How many hours does the battery last when gaming? Want to buy it with Zelda.

A lot of games, like Zelda, last about 3 hours. You can get some smaller / indie games that last twice as long.

If you do less than 3 hours of gaming a day, you should be fine with dropping the Switch in its charging cradle at night. If you need more battery for travels, you can get a portable power bank.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hmm, three hours ain't a lot... Rather not have loads of stuff with me like powerbanks and cables...

It's mostly for on the plane and/or train and now I mostly use my iPad now, but the Switch has some titles, like Zelda, that are making want one...

No buyer regrets here on the forum?

I don't regret it and I haven't used it in a bit. I like mario games and zelda games and stuff like that. I'm willing to wait for them to come out and when they do, I love playing them. My kids love playing them on the switch itself for some reason, maybe cause they can hide and play for longer than I want them to. The battery is fine and the cord isn't a huge mess to carry around. Fits fine in the bag we bought to carry around the switch so its no biggie. We even got the car adapter for long trips.

I prefer my Switch over my Xbox One S And even my new PS4 Pro, both docked and mobile. It’s IMO the best console because it’s simple, does one thing, and is so adaptable. And has some great fun games.
When the new DOOM 2 comes out, I’ll be getting it on my Switch only!
But I always have and do love mobile or small gadgets lol! Probably why I like my Apple Watch so much too...

I haven’t taken it out on the road as such, just if we visit family for a weekend. But then you can take the Switch and cradle and charger easily.

I am wondering about the next must have game for me though. I guess it will be a bit before another MARIO game.

Any chance of a brand new mario cart game for the switch or do you think they will just stick with what they have?

Crash is $29.99 and $23.99 with GCU at Best Buy.

Might have to scoop it! Traded in my ps4 copy last year

Has anyone had a chance to play Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate? This is looking like my next game purchase.

Nope. Games are just too much fun, for me better than any games on other consoles.

I'm addicted to Splatoon 2. Haven't touched my PS4 in 8 months, exactly the same time I got my Switch.
Does Splatoon 2 have a single player mode or is it online mostly? The reason I ask is because it’s a game I’m interested in but I feel like I see more information about the online mode.

Their is a demo for Monster Hunter on the Switch, I haven’t tried it yet.
For Splatoon their is a DLC that’s not much money which gives you a single player game. But once you play it online you kinda get addicted, it’s more fun then COD.

8 Deluxe has gotten a few updates on Switch, like LABO compatibility. I think they'll just expand that game as a "platform" for Mario Kart this generation. And there isn't precedent for two Mario Karts on one platform.

There's a built-in single player campaign that you don't have to pay extra for. But yes, the Octo Expansion is a hard-mode single player campaign for $20 as well.

Has anyone tried the NES games online yet? How do they play on the pro controller? I heard mixed things about the controls, like you can’t assign actions to different buttons.
