Anyone scooping up Octopath Traveler or Captain Toad now that those are out?

as much as I love DK: TF, Im considering selling it to put that $ towards something else

and if I ever get an itch, can easily re buy.

sold SMO and bought Xenoblade2 with it, since I don't play SMO anymore after beating the game.. just didnt have the will even tho I enjoyed a play through

Good choice doggfather—Mario Odyssey really does feel like a "one playthrough" kind of game. The hundreds of moons make it difficult to revisit.

I recommend Captain Toad. There is barely any new content to merit a re-purchase for people who have played the Wii U version, but it's a no brainer for your first time. :)

Gotcha! Might have to especially cause 20% off GCU and its only a $40 game

I just hope it gets more difficult than the demo, which was silly easy. but seems like a charming title in general

Too funny! After Fortnite sessions I also start noticing people in real life being in "sniper range." Not good at all!

Yesterday's patch just added motion controls—it's in the settings, so you might find that's a bit more like a mouse.

Good stuff all around in season 5. :) I've earned 2 victory royales in solo and 1 in squads. The fruits of my 70 hours of labor, lol.
First off, I hate you. I had only one VR, and it was in 50/50 mode--and even then I can hardly count hiding in a basement during the finish as a "win." In solo I only made it down to 2 players once or twice, but was no match for the other basturd, I mean player.

But thanks for the heads-up on the motion controls. My kill rate can't be any worse, so anything can help.

I pre-ordered Octopath with the Amazon Points I had in my account. Only a few hours in so far but I like it. I read some reviews that mention that the storylines don't really connect at all so thats a bit disappointing but I'm enjoying the throwback to SNES-era JRG's and the game's style and music is very charming.

I don't know if I'll get sick of the random encounter fights, but so far they are pretty fun.

Just bought Splatoon 2 second hand. Playing my first matches right now and I'm already hooked!

So much fun! But I die quite easily and some teammates are useless

But great game to just lay back and have fun, while still being competitive of course.

Sonic Mania Plus. Theyve fixed all the bugs and addressed all the performance issues on Switch.

My broken left joycon has been away for over two weeks now, which means my new Switch console has been out of action for almost as long as it was actually working. Got an email today to say they'd 'started work' on a repair and would send it back within 7 working days.
edit: they're delivering it tomorrow. Hurrah! Hope I can remember how to play Xenoblade.
My left joycon is on its way out again. The thumbstick makes a nasty creaking noise if I click it while the stick is in certain positions, and the click takes a lot of force to activate. It's not like it has had really heavy use, either. These things are trash!

I'm halfway through Zelda, though. Maybe I'll have to buy a massively overpriced Pro controller to tide me over while this one is getting repaired again.

I see the online service pricing has been announced, it’s cheap compared to Sony and MS, very cheap in fact. Will be worth doing.
I have to say my Switch is now by far my favourite console, it’s very near to being the only console to own, unless you want the exclusives on the others. And with the new DOOM sequel announced for the Switch, it offers another reason to only have a Switch.
I haven’t used my other consoles for a few weeks now. I think it’s the aspect that you can use it anywhere as well as the TV and it’s very easy to do that.

But the online service does say it will be needed for online gameplay. So a warning to Splatoon 2 players, I guess we’ll need the online service for it.

I´m torn between getting Arms or Mario Tennis tomorrow; I want both but whichever I buy the other one will be bought until one or two months down the line; which one would you get first?

Mario Tennis personally, but its a personal preference thing

I never picked up the other one/didnt care for the demo much

I'm really excited for Smash Ultimate. It really feels like the ultimate game. So many characters and stages...

Between that, Splatoon 2, Pokemon, Fortnite and Mario Kart I don't see myself needing any new game in quite a while. Maybe Dragon Ball FighterZ. I liked the game while playing the beta.

This way I'll wait for other non-essential games to get cheaper and will have plenty of stuff to play while waiting for the next gen to mature.

That's cool, how did you go about importing Okami and about how much $ did it come out to? (Haven't imported before.)
