Never been a fan of Smash Bros, but i'm sure it'll be huge come the holiday season.

And yeah, i'm disappointed there wasn't much shown for me (the single player gamer).

I just saw the headlines that Smash Bros was the main attraction, so I didn‘t bother reading on.
Yeah quite a disappointment from Nintendo.

Never liked Smash Bros myself, having tried it on the Gamecube and Wii. Way to imprecise with the floaty controls to be a serious fighting game, and when the camera zooms out I was constantly losing track of my character.

Donkey Kong Arcade was released yesterday!!!

Yay! The real version with all screens and intermissions!!!
Yeah I was excited there for a moment, until I saw the $7.99 price which I think is quite the cash grab. Now if Nintendo sold it as a pair with DK Jr. I just might bite. I still remember once at the arcade, I was down to the last life at like 30K points, and with that last life I made it to like 450K points. I was so proud of myself lol.

Does anyone know how I can shut off in app purchases on the switch? I can’t find it in my parental control app

Captain toad
Mario aces tennis

Or xc2?
Those are some pretty different choices.

Mario Tennis Aces didn't impress me (during the demo), so I'll be picking up 4 indie games instead.

I played through Captain Toad taking turns with my wife—if you have a significant other or roommate to play with, go for it. If not and you're more of a solo player, can't go wrong with the hours of depth XC2 will provide.

Or octo expansion for splatoon 2

I’m just itching for a new switch game since beating Tropical freeze last month

I think all three are amazing games. And I will be getting all 3. Well I have two of them so far and will be getting Captain Toad when it releases.

Which to get though? It all depends on what you want? Do you want a Tennis game? Do you want a puzzle game? Or do you want a really indepth RPG? XC2 is rather niche and not for everyone but it is really good and has at least 40 hours content in it. I took about 80 hours to beat the main story and anouht 40 hours just mucking around in that so my time was like 120 hours when done. Also the new DLC story announced at E3 for XC2 looks really good too, as does the new arena mode. I would check it out in youtube, a few lets play videos to see if you'll like the combat style of it as it's quite polarising.

I think I’ve becone slightly addicted to Splatoon 2

The Switch is the most fun I’ve had with a console for ages and ages. I haven’t even fired up Zelda.

I have a question though, currently I’ve got Sandisk’s fastest SD card in it, but it’s only 64GB. I need a bigger one and was looking at the 200gb ones you can get, but can only afford the slower Ultra cards or equivalent.
Will those still be alright to use? Will I notice much difference?

Anyone playing or still playing Mario Tennis Aces?

I scooped it up for just under $40 On eBay a week ago and I’m enjoying the online mode even tho i suck at it

More forgiving too over lack of content, etc. bc i dont think Ive had a tennis title since like Dreamcast maybe? And i think it was virtua tennis

I'm playing it, even though I'm finding it kinda annoying. The menus are cumbersome, the music is annoying, but the actual game play (after 15 clicks to get to it) is pretty great.

Learned how to play Fortnite over the weekend. Uh oh O.O
Now I'm the stereotypical Fortnite dude. But it is really fun!
Just got into it myself and, despite the fact that at this point I truly suck, I love it. I'm almost ready to pick up a mid-range gaming PC to see if I can do better. But I also like that the Switch can play on-the-go.

Yesterday I went over to the neighbor's to help out with a wifi issue and I swear I could hear the gold chest music coming from a closet. I was >< this close to opening it to check.

Too funny! After Fortnite sessions I also start noticing people in real life being in "sniper range." Not good at all!

Yesterday's patch just added motion controls—it's in the settings, so you might find that's a bit more like a mouse.

Good stuff all around in season 5. :) I've earned 2 victory royales in solo and 1 in squads. The fruits of my 70 hours of labor, lol.
