Seattle Broadway AT&T Store: 0
as of 11pm on Thursday
(i know, i know... at&t store... but i thought some might want to know)

The Gateway - SLC Utah - Zero (8pm)

I showed up about 8PM and the Apple reps said the mall security booted the campers for loitering! He said 35 or so were on their way too. If I was there to spend the night, I would've been pissed. See ya guys in the morning.

Just drove by the Pasadena, CA store. There must be some 50-60 people sleeping out there tonight and no one at the cingular store across the street. Glad I'm going to a mall in the morning.

5th Ave nyc store- I think I'm #118 at 4:30 am

Why are people waiting in line? I have heard nothing about there being a limited quantity....

Not so much an issue of limited quantity as an issue of more people wanting one then is available today.

I am still of the camp that waiting in line will likely have been necessary in most cases, but we shall see. If I don't have one today, then I will have been wrong.

San Diego - Fashion Valley Store update

I arrived at the FV Apple Store (in a major mall here in Sandy Eggo) to check out the scene - amazingly, the mall is open to line-ups, people are in front of the store, and there's about 30 of us at 7:30 a.m.

No problem parking, no problem getting in line, Apple has roped off a switchback lineup around the store, everyone is happy, the Apple Store WiFi is up (that's what I'm using) and it's a party atmosphere.

7:30 in the morning and only 30 people!!

Bet you feel bad... :p

I'm not waiting outside, I've just passed the stores at those times on my way somewhere else. I've gotta go somewhere in a bit and I'll pass the store again, if there happens to be no one outside there still, I'll probably just go down around 5 and be fine.

I'm here in SLC and I like the fact that they booted the campers out. Hurrah :)

Drove by the Hunt Valley Shopping Center ATT (by Wegmans) in Hunt Valley, MD and there wasn't a soul there. Could be because of the rain.

Not every at&t/Cingular store will have the iPhone
Which is why they have a iPhone sotre locator on their website

Miami line counts 10AM

10am - Apple Store - The Falls
According to an Apple Store employee, the line as of 10AM is more than 40 people and growing very quickly. They are giving people in line free water. The staff have not yet been told how many units they were shipped, nor a good projected time to be in line to be sure to get an iPhone. Limit of 2 per customer as has been widely mentioned elsewhere.

One MacRumors user in the line at The Falls reported the count at 70-80 as of 10AM.

10am - Apple Store - Miami Beach
A store employee reports 15 in line as of 10AM, waiting outside in distinctly iffy weather. Staff at MB do not know how many iPhones they have received. They are providing free water.

10am Apple Store - - Aventura
According to a store employee, there are more than 100 people in line as of 10AM. Staff has not been advised how many units they will receive. "What time would you recommend to someone to come to be sure to get an iPhone?" I asked. The staffer replied "Now."
