1:00PM, 8 people outside. Since I live in a small town, and there's a possibility they only got 30, I will probably be heading down soon.

I just called the store and asked how many they have, they said their shipment hasn't come in yet.

3:15PM, in line with about 15 people. More are starting to come.

Sarasota, Florida

Only two stores in Sarasota are selling the iphone. Both are ATT - no Apple store here.

At 3PM there were about 30 people on line at the Bee Ridge ATT. A few people in line said one of the store clerks said there were 25 iphones to be sold. At which point the people at the end of the line seemed to get somewhat concerned.

It's not official, and seems odd considering how the iphones are shipped in boxes of 10 (although I suppose the store owner/manager/employees may have snagged a few).

I didn't stick around - I will see how reports look here and probably stop in later tonight to see if any phones are left... we shall see.

Manhattan Beach, CA 110 people as of 12:30, and the Shade's almost gone:(

Torrance, CA ATT Store had 26 people outside it. Aren't there something like 1800 ATT stores that will have the phone?

South Coast Plaza 200 people in line 12:45 pst

Air-condidtioned mall.
No chairs for sitting. No allowing friends to get in line later in the day.
40 Apple employees standing around in the store, some random purchases being made.
You can get out of line to go to the bathroom.
Front of the line folks got here around 4am this morning.

Not much wireless capability, as the Apple network doesn't extend that far.

Calm and mellow atmosphere so far. People are cool.

AT&T Wall St. NYC

I'm #56 in line at the AT&T Wall Street store. Seem to be about 75 people here are so. About an hour ago I was #48 but seems some people have let a few friends in with them. I'm not good at confrontations so I'm hoping some of my fellow waiters will speak up. They're getting concerned too. Anticipation is mounting-we're hoping they have enough!

woodfield mall, Schaumburg, IL

employee came out - his count was 93 in line (I'm in the 80s) and he said they had "probably a thousand" iPhones here. w00t! :p

little falls, nj -- looks like about 50 people at 3:30pm when I passed by.
i know, it's not an Apple store but an AT&T store. I'm assuming it will be like that at other AT&T stores...

Thousand Oaks, CA

In line at the Apple Store in Thousand Oaks, CA at 1:15pm. Approximately 100 people in line so far, of which I'm approximately 95. Thank the Lord for the Apple Store free wi-fi!

Houston

I see all the iPhone seekers are going to the three stores out to the north and west of town. I think I'll go south to Baybrook in Friendswood.

I did a count earlier at around 12 - 1 PM, and it was at more like 140/50.

Around 50 in line at Greenwich, CT att... Greenwich is richest town in the usa, so I'm not suprised.

palm beach gardens update

at least 30 as of 2 pm et. yes, i'm four hours late, but for those who don't know, this is a highly affluent area (like the town of palm beach, i'm surprised apple didn't put a store over at the island yet, probably will in the future).

WHO GOT ONE ALREADY!!!!??????

The Greenwich AT&T store is tiny, so it must suck for those waiting there.
