I'm sittin in line at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga CA. Got here at 7:45 and ended up about 40th in line.

I've been at my local AT&T Store since 8 AM this morning, and I am #3 in line. Right now, there are only about 8 people in line total!

Come on 6 PM!!!

I guess it is stupid to even ask, but I suppose everyone will be buying this device without ever actually seeing it? I am considering picking one up today, but would at least like to spend a few minutes with a display unit in the store before dropping 6 bills. Who knows, once I see one maybe I'll decide that it isn't for me?

Here on Kauai there is only one place to buy one- the Lihue AT&T store. Sometimes, this type of thing works to our advantage. When a friend from the mainland visited early this year, he was able to pick up a Wii at our K-Mart. They were nowhere to be found near his hometown. We don't get people driving from all over the place (hey, its an island) to clean our stores out just so they can sell the crap on ebay at ridiculous prices. Anyway, I'm curious if there will even be a line or not.

I'm in line at 43rd and 7th Ave. (AT&T NYC). The line is surprisingly lite, maybe 50 or fewer people.

The line is around the corner, but the block is short, so that's not as massive as it sounds.

I am so stoked!! I am next to last right now, it's cool out, and I have water but I fear drinking it and having to use the potty, so I'll starve.
