I saw that. Passive isolation is also a contributing factor I consider in ear buds. It largely depends on whether you have a proper seal which can be tough. Many people / reviewers may think they have a proper seal and don't. The "king" of ANC, Sony WF-XM5, sounded terrible for me because nothing stayed in my ears properly. Same with the B&O EX (king of sound to many) on the right ear, really affected the sound quality. My Denon buds for example were reviewed to not have great noise canceling. But the seal I get is perfect which really helps the passive isolation. If you get a proper seal you really don't need the greatest ANC, in my opinion. The Denon is the best sounding ear bud I've ever heard, nothing else I've tried even comes close.Android Authority's initial review says they have difficulty blocking noise as well as Buds2 Pro...
Yes- the larger ones outsell others 2:1 or better. I just can't deal with front pocket ops in the giant and pointy edged Ultra form factor
S24+ (and Pixel Pro) are just the right size in that department and have sufficient screen real estate for my non-gaming purposes.
Ai features fron OneUI 6.1.1 will come to all phones released 1 year prior - including S23 series fully intact. It's also on the Flip 6.
Not sure if it's only for the SD8 Gen 3.
While I heavily agree with you on the majority of reviews, I've personally experienced - both AirPods Pro gen1 and Buds2 Pro where for months outstanding performance gets suddenly knackered with a garbage FW update! Then 45 days later not only restored but improved performance on the AirPods Pro prior to the crap FW update. These guys would definitely be in the minority as almost every other review have been saying otherwise. General consensus is that the Buds3 Pro are a big upgrade from the Buds2 Pro in every way. That being said, it may be too early as updates happen soon after release. A few of the reviews that I'm referring to are from Aaron X Loud and Wireless, Boredatwork, and Flossy.
Really old news like 2019 old.

Hopefully the Plus models don't get the iPhone Mini treatment 😂. I've no interest in the Ultra or the standard size.Naw man; earlier this year:
"S24 Ultra accounted for 52 percent of the trio's global shipments during the aforementioned period, with the "standard" 6.2-inch model sitting at 27 percent and the Plus variant at only 21 percent.
These shares are actually not that different from how the S23 Ultra compared with the S23 and S23 Plus last year, but it's still remarkable to see Samsung do such a solid job of marketing its most expensive handsets."
We'll see what Samsung actually reports at some point.
Same here... S24+ (and Pixel 8 Pro) from factor is where it's at for some of us lolHopefully the Plus models don't get the iPhone Mini treatment 😂. I've no interest in the Ultra or the standard size.
I meant old news because Apple was THE last company to clue this in when they still shipped the iPhone 5S as the leading new iPhone at the time and then a year later switched to the iPhone 6/6 Plus and BOOM went the dynamite in cash revenue and profits! Every other company already had a 6" screens phone shipping by then. Including Samsung.Naw man; earlier this year:

Where's your source on this, please? I've not seen Canalys make this statement.Naw man; earlier this year:

At least Samsung do the right thing, with Apple it would be a feature, or you are removing it wrong 😂Got mine yesterday and facing the issue where the mounting part from the earplug (a hard plastic ring) is stuck to the earbud and cannot be removed
Yeah exactly 😁 I never even had the chance to try them out, was going to switch to the bigger earplugs immediately when I unboxed them and now they're unusable. Hope Samsung handles this in a good way now and send out replacements instead of trying to repair everyones budsAt least Samsung do the right thing, with Apple it would be a feature, or you are removing it wrong 😂

This stinks, I read the full article on Sammobile. Mine are out for delivery today, hopefully they'll be OK.Yeah exactly 😁 I never even had the chance to try them out, was going to switch to the bigger earplugs immediately when I unboxed them and now they're unusable. Seems to be stock issues on the white ultra, ordered straight after unpacked, no delivery. Now saying Aug 2. Didn't get my buds either since Samsung wants to ship everything together.
It seems Samsung either had trouble producing or they underestimated the demand by a lot!Congrats on being able to pre-order the titanium white. It was sold out here in Canada on the first day, and now the titanium silver is sold out. Even all the bands in all colors are sold out. I have never seen any of the previous watches sell out, especially the most expensive one. Very s urprising
Much appreciated the update. Unfortuntarly Yonhap News Agency failed to link vs just citing the source : Counterpoint Research so I did along with the graph for those more visually inclined. All on my S23 without any help from Ai (cause it just can't do that, yet) lolI just did a quick Google search and found that it was from a very reliable source, Counterpoint Research. It was reported by Yonhap News Agency. Read.
Given that the S24 is at 27%, S24+ is at 21%, and the S24 Ultra is at 52%, I think Samsung should just get rid of the plus model. It's a no brainer that anyone willing to carry around the Plus model, would have no issues carrying around the Ultra model. Can't say the same for people that want the 6.2" base model S24. This would instantly boost the sales of the Ultra to over 70%.
I hope they keep all 3 models, it isn't as if the Plus didn't sell at all. It still outsold many other phones based on that chart. If they ditch the Plus I'd be really disappointed ☹️. I've never gone more than 3-4 months using Android and always had an iPhone handy to fall back on. I'm now 6 months in with my S24+ as my only phone, no iPhone backup. It's been that good for me.Much appreciated the update. While I agree that the S25+ should be cancelled some things would need to be considered and then done first.
Those that prefer the larger screen that the base S23/24/25 doesn't satisfy along with the larger battery, at a much cheaper price (not to mention less bells and whistles) than the Ultra model will quickly be left out and will jump to one of a other 7 competitors. Not ideal without some changes.
1. The base Galaxy S25 model should finally get a bump in RAM 12GB like the S24+ did. Honestly the same amount of work will be done on both S25/25+ models the screen size doesn't determine that.
2. Larger battery within the base S25: 42-4500mAh minimum but 4500mAh should suffice as the maximum.
3. Faster charging across the entire damn lineup already. If there EVER was some international beat-down-spanking from governments against Samsung for the Note 20 exploding battery, sure it's long been healed/forgiven by now. This is 2024 Samsung.
4. Upgrade the primary and secondary camera's across the entire lineup in 2025. The miserly game is getting old even by Mr Scrooge's standards. Samsung has the money and technical engineering resources to choose & implement a solid upgrade solution. The S25 should at least have the primary camera upgraded : even to a 3x periscope optical zoom. Something for thr ProRes & ProRAW software to take benefits of.
5. Inter nationally provide 128, 256 and 512GB storage (UFS 4.2/4.5 should be ready by 2025 calendar year start). The USA+CAN models never got the 512GB option on the S24 thus my reason never to uograde this year.
^ if UFS 5 is also ready by 2025 Samsung can use that for the ZFold 6 Ultra/Fold 7, Tab S10 S10+ and S10 Ultra and their laptops to manage economies of scale. Hold back on competitors for their mid to low end devices from using USF5 as I'm sure there is a higher power draw yet I could be wrong.
S25 Ultra can bring their cameras to the drawing board and ring us a modern Periscope Zoom that is fully optimal variable like the Xperia VI with an equal continuous variable-zoom for pictures and video in ALL features not just ProRes/ProRAW. That Research could also be molested in the upcoming Z Fold as well. Knock 2025 out the park with huge specs and quality we expect with software and end user fit and finish.
My qorry is Samsung will see fit to just use 50% of my hypothetical recommendations above and they'll jump the screen size of the S25 from 6.2" to 6.4" which is not ideal at all.
