I have the exact opposite experience with S24U and P8P and 15PM....I tried last weekend to test each phone for a day.
P8P didn't last the day. Feels small and dainty in my hands compared to the S24U. The P8P feels like glass waiting to slip out of my hands and break lol. The 15PM and s24U feel great in the hand. But ultimately the S24U wins out for me.
yeah depends on the person really. amazing phone though just prefer the iPhone and pixel for overall long periods.

Yeah, that’s the route I took… bought a refurb Buds2 Pro. White model… like the fit and integration with my Samsung Devices (Watch and Galaxy Fold).

Baring hot or cold to touch, I can’t imagine a phone feeling awful to hold…
just couldn't get on with it for long periods. no issues with the phone itself though really is great. Overall I just prefer the pixel for long periods and for work tasks as that's what my 2nd sim was for basically.

I honestly prefer the 15PM to both the P8P and S24U with regards to in hand feel. The move to Titanium actually made a noticeable difference for the iPhone by shedding a little weight. All three are fine for my big hands but I'd go with the 15PM followed by the P8P and then the S24U.

Im trading my P7P in and no real reason to return the S24U so I'll keep it and see what improvement Samsung makes in the first couple updates. I don't really see many areas the AI on the S24U surpasses or even matches the pixel so I'll probably switch my sim back to the pixel at some point as I prefer the camera, AI features, and the UI of the Pixel.

What is the issue exactly? I can tell the color tone is a tad muted but I just figured that might be due to the anti reflective display. Really no complaints here with the display.
I don't have any complaints either concerning the display. But it some want the "vivid" mode to be more vivid than it is now. The S23U display was more vivid using that mode.

yeah same here! tbh I prefer the colours both on screen and in camera shots from the s24... bit more natural without being washed out

If you set the display to vivid and make sure that adaptive color tone is off then the displays are almost the same. The AR coating on the s24 ultra make everything "pop" more on the screen.

Also having a flat screen makes a big difference to me. I hated the curve and couldn't fit a decent tempered glass screen protector. First time I couldn't install a Whitestone. Went through 3 and decided to stop.

The only problem I have with the screen is the gradient color banding that looks pretty horrible but it was that way on the s24 plus too but not on the S23U or P8P. So I am pretty sure it is a software issue. If it is a hardware issue then it is affecting all s24 models which Samsung will have to rectify.

Either way for now this is the most beautiful display on a bar phone I have ever used. I just wrapped up the s24 plus. I like how small and thin it is and the screen on the s24 plus is beautiful as well. But the larger screen and AR coating are a huge deal for me.

I look at my phone screen for hours a day every day for as long as I own the device so the screen is immensely important to me. I wouldn't say it is the best cellphone screen I have ever used if it weren't true and I wouldn't pay double the cost of the s24 plus if I didn't believe what I say.

Show me another phone with a screen like this? Apple bar phone 15 Pro Max can't compare and has no Apple pencil support??

So now I have a Galaxy s9 tablet, a pair of galaxy buds pro 2, a galaxy watch 6 classic and the s24 ultra.

All I need is a GalaxyBook Pro and I will have a complete Samsung ecosystem.

I have to say that I am pretty happy with the quality and price.

I doubt I will get a GalaxyBook because I can't get a deal on one that would make it affordable like everything else I bought at discounts and trade ins.

But it would be nice to have the complete Samsung ecosystem. I might do it some day.....

I'm really having a hard time with the S24U ergonomically. It's just really uncomfortable to hold for me :(. Maybe it's because I have smaller hands since I am a woman, but the ergonomics really kill it for me. The S23U was more comfortable. As much as I love the phone, I am going to stick with my Pixel 8 Pro, which is an immensely comfortable phone to hold. I have not mailed it out yet, thankfully.

But damn is the S24U nice. It's the smoothest phone I've ever used. Not one stutter. It's insane.

(Also, y'all can go ahead and tell me "I told you so," especially my stalkers on here 😘.)

You should try the s24 plus. It is smaller than the Pixel 8 Pro with the same size screen.

But it makes sense as it is a beast of a phone for sure.

The Pixel 8 Pro is a great phone and it is about the most ergonomic large phone I have ever had. I think partially you were just spoiled by the P8P. 😆 LOL.

Same here- for my ~6' 2" height, I definitely have small hands and Ultra's are just too big.

Pixel 8 Pro and S24+ are essentially the same size (hint hint hehe). Both are comfortable to hold and great when doing one-handed ops too.

Ugh that sucks to hear. My S24 Ultra arrives today, and I ordered it partly based on your positive review of it. Too bad it's just a huge sharp edged phone.

I will say I'm running the latest developer beta preview on my Pixel 8 Pro, and this phone is ridiculously smooth and fluid right now, I'm just extremely comfortable and satisfied with it.

I don't even have the s24 Ultra yet and I'm already second guessing why I bought it. But I will remain open-minded and give it a thorough test job for the next couple weeks.

I have big hands so the S24U is not a problem for me. I hold the P8P and it feels small. But you cannot go wrong with the P8P. Maybe try the s24 plus?
