Well it's been a LONG two weeks but it's on the truck for delivery. In a few more hours it should be in my hands. Anyone else expecting delivery today?

Ordered on May 4th (3g 64gb)
On delivery truck today... hope it is only a few hours away until it is in my hands!

Ordered 3G 32 GB May 5, 11 a.m. Received morning of May 17.

Took 6 days to get to me from the point when Fed Ex picked it up in China. No here is a question. Why can't Apple get enough iPad cases made? I've got a couple of weeks to wait for that to get to me. Should I buy another case in the mean time? I expect to start using my iPad tonight.

I bought a presale iPad 3G 64GB on eBay April 21, the seller who made the order the same day still hasn't received the iPad. You guys think this is possible? Now that i'm reading about people that ordered the iPad May 5 already receiving the iPad i'm getting a little suspicious.

It may be possible but in my opinion I wouldn't buy an preordered iPad from someone on eBay. I would only buy one from someone that actually has it in their hands. Did you already pay him?

Your seller should've received the iPad by now. I ordered mine May 3 and I received mine last Friday.

If I were you I'd ask him for the apple order number and then you can check the status of online on the apple website. But I would definitely look into this if I were you.

Yes i already payed, they said they are a authorized reseller and has loads of positive feedbacks so i trusted them. And there is always the eBay Buyer Protection.

Ah hopefully mine (which left Anchorage at 1:30 PM EST) will arrive tomorrow! (That would be two days earlier than FedEx's estimated Thursday delivery).

I pre-ordered an iPad 3G 32GB on April 29th at a local apple resaler and paid up front yet no iPad as of today, May 18th. They told me that no one is getting their iPads right now but I keep seeing people on this forum who ordered after me get theirs directly from Apple. All they will say is they hope it will come in this week and they'll call me to let me know it's arrived. I've purchased all my mac products from this store, but this may be my last. I feel your pain.

My Long Wait Is Over!!!

Frankly, you should probably either put yourself on a Apple Store list, or order one directly from Apple's website. Resellers aren't a priority. Even Best Buy is not the priority that Apple's own stores are. So if you want it quicker, your best bet is Apple themselves at this point. Even with the delay of just placing your order now, I bet you get one from Apple before you ever get one from your local reseller.

Casually checking the morning the BB website to see if any iPad's were in stock and low and behold a shipment of 3G 64 GB came in. I immediately drove to the store and they still had 4 of the 10 they had in stock today at 10:45 a.m. Just got back from the apple resaler and got a refund no problem. Whew!!! My long wait is over. Let the fun begin.
