All of the iPhones were manufactured in India this year.
Doubtful!!Fake photos! Someone posts photos these on Twitter and you automatically think they’re real? These are either fake mock-ups and/or the photos were enhanced to amplify fingerprints.
Apple cleaned them after every reviewer... So that's not the point!Aren't those from the Tuesday event? I can't even imagine how many people's hands were on those display units.

My goodness. Look at the glass. It’s not uneven. What you are seeing is the reflection on the titanium rounded corners. The glass looks bowed down when there is a shadow on the screen. Bowed up when it’s a highlight. Play of the light.Maybe just go for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, since the iPhone 15 Pro Max is a 1st gen Tit product. For the iPhone 16 Pro Max, they might have the uneven display glass better on control.

Must just be a bunch of folks trying to convince themselves they don’t want something. But to think apple placed phones out there with uneven glass😂.
The glass isn’t even thin enough to have that kind of flexibility!!!
People. My goodness.
You joke, but I literally have white handling gloves for this purpose, but I keep my phones looking the same as the day they were removed from the box for resale purposes.I guess I need to use surgical gloves when removing the iPhone from the sealed box and installing the Spigen Liquid Air case onto it.
Where was I complaining? I clearly said it wasn't a big deal. I was simply pointing it out. Either way you don't need to be so defensive over a phone. The phone is supposed to be a tool. Complaining about fingerprints on a phone touched by hundreds in a day amounts to complaining just to complain. Your focus is way out of whack. It’s down right stupid. I suggest when you get your new phone, that you leave the box sealed and put it under glass,so it will be easier to stare at and obsess over.
Saw these on twitter. Looks like the titanium still attracts a ton of fingerprints. Not a huge deal but I did think the brushed metal might prevent them. Oh well.

I wouldn’t worry, according to them there has never been a issue with any apple product ever lolWhere was I complaining? I clearly said it wasn't a big deal. I was simply pointing it out. Either way you don't need to be so defensive over a phone.
You really think these phones are not meticulously checked before they're put on display? Apple know there are going to be thousands of cameras pointing at these things, every phone will be checked over before being put on these tables. Please have some common sense. You assume it is reflection. You don't know that because you haven't had the iPhone in your hand.
As of now, the glass looks uneven from the pictures. As to why, remains to be seen when they become available in the Apple Store.
I imagine the discoulouration around the buttons is because they're raised. Skin won't be touching the area directly surrounding the buttons, so no oil in that area. It's not about the fingerprints, you see also discolouration around the buttons.
My iPhone 11 Pro Max doesn't do this, so this is something new.
And it's not stupid. If there is a problem with the 1st generation Tit iPhone, it's best to skip and wait for the next generation.
This is one of the most rational and down-to-earth comments I've read on MR as of late. 👍I don’t think this thread is that serious, but I do think a lot of us have an unhealthy view of our phones. It’s too precious. It goes from appreciating a tool and taking reasonable care of it, to a kind of obsessive material worship. We do it with everything—cars, shoes, etc. We associate our value with the object, so when it’s smudged or scratched, we are somehow less complete. Of course we don’t want to trash our things and make them an eye sore or repulsive or even worse non-functional. But I think we are at our healthiest with our things when we understand their actual value and treat them no better or worse.

This has been the case with any dark Apple product, ever...I guess you haven‘t been around when the M2 MacBook Air was launched? The midnight blue version of the M2 MacBook Air scratches easy and is a finger print magnet.
This was evident during the launch event and this was also later confirmed when checking demo models in the Apple Store.
It‘s why my M2 MacBook Air is the Starlight colour which doesn‘t have this problem.
