In no particular order:

Chess with friends
Rick Rocketson - (though not me but one of my kids)
TED
Crazy Penguine Catapult - (once again one of my kids)
Facebook

Not particular usefull but the ones that runs on my phone the most currently - so they might not be the ones I like the most, but in terms of "use" these are the ones currently - this changes though...

I'm going to add a few more apps to my already long list...

Saisuke - copy and paste of events makes scheduling my lessons fast and easy. It looks cluttered though.

SplashMoney is great.

GeoDefense - vector graphics, extremely challenging TD game. I don't know how many times I've tried to beat the first level in the medium difficulty pack. It took a while to pass a few levels in the beginner pack as well. Lots of fun!

IMO there are no apps that I "need", so I like to stick to social networking and games, like most people tend to these days.
