than any iPad in its history.
Ok, so I’ve made no secret that I was very unhappy with the purchase of the 11 I made and mostly spoke of the ram but in reality it also had a lot to do with the bad process design and how the structural integrity of this iPad in the search to be the thinnest with the least amount of bezel width has made it unacceptable to me.
I work in a plant that has extensive CNC milling and lathe operations and took mine in for some second opinions on the form factor and structural inspection... long story short, was told to send it back for full refund while I can cause the $80 cheap Apple case wasn’t gong to help with keeping it safe with it being so flimsy. Also they think putting the magnets in it may be a problem with so little structural integrity. Now this is MY finding and opinion on the matter, if you don’t agree that’s fine, I’m good with how I got full refunds and moved on.
I sent back, got full refund on iPad and case, but over the last 10 days I see threads popping up all over of shell problems....
All I can say is that IF you get a “good” one you had better get a VERY ROBUST CASE for it to see if it lasts
Since I don’t want to wait another year+ for an iPad as I have one from 2016 Pro, I think I’m going to look at the 10.5 in a couple months to carry me over since it has the same amount of ram this years did anyway....maybe the next release will be one I can buy.
