Funny how Apple design it to be soo thin that customers now have to purchase a bulky case just to protect it from bending......
I don’t care how beautiful the design is, i put cases on ALL my mobile devices. I’ve always used a case on my ipads. Always. I am much more worried about cracking the screen than i am about bending it. All my ipad screens have cracked. What can i say? I’m a klutz. Lol. So i plan to be extra careful with this baby. I do take the case off occassionally when on the couch, but i don’t mind having the case on all the time either.
Sorry to hear you have to put your iPad in a case in order for it to not bend. No issue here with my iPad mini....No case and straight as a arrow.

Ha. No. Not worried about bending at all. I use a case cause i have cracked every ipad screen i’ve ever owned. Plus, i don’t know about you, but having a case on an ipad is convenient for tilting it when on a table or your lap. Love my ipad mini 2 as well. Plan to update it when the new ones come out.
My 11” Pro is doing just fine. No bends. No rippling in the back metal. I must have a unicorn!
