Carrier The Verizon iPhone X Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

I ordered one right when they went live, but got an error after the hit submit - something like Verizon was too busy so try again. I tried again and got the same error.

However, I got two emails saying that my order processed, I have separate order numbers, etc. I also have two orders in my Verizon account. They are both processing and ready to ship by 11/3.

What should I do about this? I don’t want my orders canceled of course, but I’m worried if I cancel one then the other one will be invalid or something. Should I wait it out?

Ordered through Verizon business, which group would this put me in? Will I receive by 11/10 or will it ship out by 11/10?

Most times, customers will receive their phones on the day of launch.

Sometimes, a few will slip through and those users will usually post pics of their delivery right here in this forum.

Right, the app shows shipping today, one day via FedEx, which would normally put the item in hand tomorrow (10/30), but if you actually track the package on FedEx.com, you'll see this big notice on the tracking results:

Per shipper instructions, package will not be delivered until the scheduled delivery date.

Well I got too excited without realizing it was my case (from the Apple Store) that got charged NOT my phone. (from Verizon) Back to square one :\ Sigh. My confirmation came in at exactly 3:05 am EST, why haven't I at least been charged the tax yet?! Now I'm worried I will be bumped back so some IUP person gets their phone first.

1. i talked to rep and said, hi i spoke with someone in the store before i preorderd and they stated i didnt have to pay the upgrade fee but i just saw my credit card statement and it shows the fee was charged, she goes im sorry, ill give you a $30 bill credit, easy.

2. if u have verizonup and didnt use ur $10 device dollars, i jut told the lady i forgot to redeem them and she said no problem, i gave her the code she put me on hold and another $10 was added to my bill credit.

3. if u didnt trade ur phone in, you can still do it and it'll be applied as a bill credit or a vz gift card.

This is such great information. I literally have all three of these questions and plan to call Verizon. Now I know what to expect. Thanks!

Just beware for those who like posting pictures in social medias or internet. The posted pictures have digital gps locations that can be used maliciously. Anyone who is able to decipher your locations can track you down and may cause any harms. Because of this, your privacy can be jeopardized.
 
My 64 silver shipped! However, I also ordered a 64 sg for my husband and it hasn’t even been charged... I ordered within minutes of each other. My silver was charged yesterday. I’m super excited for me lol, but bummed if his doesn’t get here the same day :cool:
 
Ps, this was wayyyy smoother than last years pre order! I also had issues last year with my bank declining because they thought it was fraud. And Verizon cancelling orders and blah blah! So happy this year is less of a headache for me!

Come on now..... tin foil hats aside, everyone should just be happy when it gets here. Regardless if it’s 10/30 or 11/3 or anywhere in between.
 
Anyone else starting to second guess their color choice?


Lol I picked Silver cause it looked more premium in my opinion and I felt like it wouldnt show fingerprints or micro abrasions as easily buuuut I’m starting to wonder.

I went through this exact thing this year only my order was not canceled. Just had to update card info and went through

I got black but watching videos makes me like silver more!
