My Fedex Delivery manager isn’t showing my iPhone delivery, so I called Fedex to try to put a hold on the item and the automated reply says that it’s not able to be held at the hub. I’m hoping to try again tomorrow and get a live person to talk to.

My two orders aren't showing on FedEx Manager either. Maybe it will update tomorrow.
 
I received an email stating that my payment failed when they tried to process my order. I was worried I lost my 11/3 spot for my 256gb silver, but received a shipment notification this morning.
 
Didn't order directly from Verizon, but ordered from Apple's Apple Store App on my iPad Mini 4. After saving my SG 64 GB iPhone X to my favorites, I was surprised at how seamless the process was. No hiccup to the App (after it opened at 12:04am PST/PDT whatever) and I was confirmed a delivery date of 11/3 after checking out at 12:07 am (?). No issues, no worries.

At the moment, my phone has been sitting at ZhengZhou for a better part of 2 days! Not worried, but surprised that they don't just ship 'em to US and hold it there until it moves through the US.

Ugh I ordered at 2:58 est and I’m still pending. Still no charge :( my brother who processed his 256gb space grey already has his shipping and he ordered 3 minutes before me on the same account. Still shows delievery on 11/03 but boy this waiting sucks

You can add the shipment to your delivery manager.
 
I'm guessing it depends how far you are from your distribution center.

Anyone else near Boston still showing pending and not shipped yet?

Ordred mine exactly at 3 AM. I’m in New Jersey, I’m in the same predicament...
 
Ordered 5 min before pre order. Funny how VZW says I’ll get it tomorrow. Obviously, Fed Ex will hold until the 3rd.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

For those that had to do an address change this is my experience. I received tracking today so I called to change the address. Everything was fine and they did an “ITTS” ticket and she told me it won’t change anything. She confirmed it was all set.

Fast forward a few hours and the same rep called me back and said they aren’t taking anymore address changes and I would have to re-place the order which she did for me right one the phone and she did the jump the line request so I didn’t lose my 11/3 delivery date.

Not sure if she did this because she initially told me yes or if they will do that for anyone who calls for an address change. Maybe I called too soon but once the carrier starts moving it address changes usually delay delivery by a business day so I didn’t want do that.

As we all know you can call 5 different reps and get 5 different answers. Just stating what this rep told me.
 
My worst nightmare happened. Verizon went to charge my AMEX about 20 minutes ago and it was declined due to possible fraudulent activity. I called AMEX and got that fraud alert taken off. Called Verizon and sweated the whole time I was waiting to talk to someone. Told them the situation, they put me on hold for a few minutes (PANIC!), came back and said they could try charging the card again. VERIZON SAVED MY NOV 3 DELIVERY DATE!!! Go Big Red!!!!!

Rep said in the olden days they used to have to cancel the order in order to run the card again. MyVZW app confirms I am still a go for launch day delivery.

Not cool AMEX.

Is anyone getting conflicting dates on when their iPhone X will arrive?

The email I got from Verizon says, Delivers by 11/3. If I login through the desktop web browser it also says Delivers by 11/3. However, if I login through the mobile Verizon app it says Ships by 11/3. Ships by and Delivers by are two different things. I wonder which is right? Will it be here by 11/3? I have yet to get a shipping notification and see a lot of you have.

Anyone able to schedule for pickup on the 3rd before a delivery attempt?

I’m not sure if Fed Ex allows for this like UPS does for these type of Apple releases.

Weird that American Excess is flagging $100 - 200 dollar orders as possible fraud, when I am guessing a lot of members spend way more than that each month online.

Amex told me it’s for internet purchases that are out of your ordinary spending habits. Same thing happened to me. Verizon had me sweating for 30 minutes because they couldn’t find my preorder. Had to find an internet supervisor.
