Verizon says 2 day but they actually do overnight shipping through fedex. I have my tracking number and it says fedex priority overnight.It's 2-day. That's why I'm pissed that it's still not out yet and nothing comes up on FedEx Tracking by Reference.
My phone is shipping to DC. Probably sitting in the Memphis hub at the moment but no tracking yet and nothing showing up (no label generated) in my FedEx app. Probably will wake up to shipping info tomorrow morning if not by the time I get ready for work. Man, never been so happy to know I have an overly busy day at work if only to keep myself in check and not think about my phone too much
When I did that for a different package last month it didn’t get to my local fed ex store until 6pm. If I can’t pick it up at the hub I’ll wait it out at home
Ya, Verizon did the same thing thing last year with the 7/7+ they held all packages till Thursday and then did overnight shipping and I got the package the next day in the afternoon.
Was kinda like that for the 8 and 8+, I think. Mom got the 8+ and our FedEx driver came at 10am (priority packages always get to our area in the morning). Hoping it’s the same deal with the X if only so I can run to the Verizon store to get a screen protector and temporary case until I can order the one I want. Then... Striaght to Gamestop to unload myself of my 7+
I hope it works out for you! Don’t know how you managed to get someone at Verizon that could set for pickup.
Why GameStop? So they can give you $10 for it?
Not sure who else is still in the same boat, but 11/3 ship date for 256GB Silver, charged Tue night but still no shipping. I was under the impression it was going to be the Space Gray that was going to sell out more than the Silver, or it could be they made more Space Gray than Silvers. Shrug :/

I mean, don’t get me wrong as a former Gamestop employee (worked there back in college) I know they aren’t always fair when it comes to game and system trade ins but they’re fairly good with electronics, especially Apple devices.
It was obviously a joke since GameStop likes to give you chump change when you sell things to them.
Ah... Forgive me, a bit tired and not looking at context. And had this argument ealier with someone else here that $480 for a cash trade for my 256 7+ was “NOT a good deal” compared to ebay or Amazon.
Well if you sold it on craigslist your self you would make more money off the sale
My order disappeared from the app. Usually it's in my feed and first there right on top but it's gone. Checked on mobile(safari) and it's on there but has this happened to anyone else? Mean anything?
A little nervous about my change of address and delivery for Friday. I'm in college about 2 hours away from home so I wanted to ship it here. Chatted with a Verizon rep on Sunday and got it set up, confirmed 11/3 delivery date would remain. Later confirmed with FedEx rep that the address change was made and I was still set for 11/3 (this was on Monday though).
Tracking still shows 11/3 delivery but it sounds like a few people have been told that can't be promised with a change of address. Hopefully since I'm still pretty close to Memphis where my phone currently is I still have a chance.
Although, I do miss getting to drive past the hub every day in the past years knowing that my phone was inside when I was back home in Memphis

Want to hear some real crap?! My husband is out of town, I got up at 2am and ordered the phones (that’s when they went live here in TX). Got the phones ordered and will be here Friday. He says he will be home Friday night and will I wait to open mine so we can open them together For real?! Lol! I haven’t decided yet haha! How am I just supposed to sit here with it in hand and not open it?! Ahhhh!

I’m not really concerned with making more on it. And I’m fairly leery of seeling stuff online (even with eBay’s fairly high success model and seller/buter protections in place). Going to Gamestop simply serves as instant gratification (no listing, negotiations/haggling, online fees, no risk of having to meet some stranger, etc). Gamestop gives me the cash right then and there and I’m out the door and on my merry way.
Don't forget to check out sites like gazelle or even Verizon does trade ins. Plus eBay also does straight cash trade-ins too.
True, but still requires me having to send the phone off somewhere. Call me lazy but, like I said... Instant gratification with Gamestop
