Carrier The Verizon iPhone X Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

Anyone have any luck with change of address?

Phone was shipped to TN though I am in FL. I talked to Verizon 3 times to confirm a change of address, they have put tickets in. But told me it would go through once my phone is "let go" from the hold.

Anyway its still in Coatesville, PA. Haven't gotten an update this late (like being in Memphis or West Palm etc)..


Or if they can't make it. What happens if I just stroll into a Verizon or Target tomorrow? Can I cancel a order that's already en route and just get a physical one in store?
 
Just got informed by the app fedex it has departed NJ. So now wonder if its coming direct to Iowa or another state like Illinois.
 
Something else I noticed in the delivery instructions....

Weekday delivery. So what if they cant deliver it tomorrow, or I miss my FedEx guy? Do they seriously mean I’d have to wait again until MONDAY?!? I’ve taken all the proper steps to prevent that, but, that can’t be true can it??

I used a different line for my upgrade. Do I put my current SIM card in before powering the phone for the first time?
 
I think my phone is in Boise ID. Only 3 hours away from me now. It hasn’t updated yet but a flight left Memphis around the same time my phone said departing Memphis and landed in Boise about an hour ago.

That’s where I’m at. I changed the address twice. I changed the address back to the original address because Verizon said there wouldn’t be a delay but fedex said there would be. Now here’s to hoping it gets delivered tomorrow.

Call them. It’s easy. Need both phones and they’ll do it for you. You just have to turn them off and on when they tell ya.

I’m in Indiana by Chicago. Mine phone is probably right next to yours. We’ll get it tomorrow. Don’t worry.
