Carrier The Verizon iPhone X Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

just letting everyone know, my address change didn't get applied. so people still at home waiting (missing apt number), better go downstairs and leave a note.

Delivered---What a fiasco....I'll never do another delivery address change after ordering from Verizon, learned that lesson. FedEx was supposed to send the phone, on Monday, to a different shipping address but loaded the phone on the truck with the original address this morning. I quickly asked my neighbor to place notes on each door to allow delivery to his house for the signature. At 10:30 i get a status update that said there was a delivery exception and that it would be delivered Monday. I called FedEx and they had the local station call me back and told me that it was put out for delivery by mistake since there was a change of address on the shipment. I asked her to go ahead and deliver it to the original address and she said that she would ask the driver to deliver it to my neighbor's house. It's been a crazy couple of days and as I said before, I'll never ask for another delivery address change again.

Just got mine delivered around 323pm!!! It's a beautiful phone. Got the silver iPhone X 256G. Relieved to know that it matches my Apple Watch 2 stainless steel perfectly!

Fed Ex guy told me he was glad I was there to sign for the package. Odd, I guess he just left the other packages if no one was around to sign for them?
 
Phone came in around 11 this morning! Ran down to greet the fedex guy and he said “Happy iPhone launch day!”

On another note.. hope everyone else gets their phone soon! The smell of it is oddly... pleasing. Cheers everyone!

Well I had preordered through Verizon with a delivery date set for Dec 1. Today I called a Verizon store near me (City Line Ave store in Philadelphia - on border with suburban town of Bala Cynwyd). They had several 64 GB silver iPhone Xs available in store (this was at 12:30 today). I left work early about 2 hours later (gambling they would still be there), and strolled in about 2:45. Hardly anyone there. Walked out 10 minutes later with the phone (after cancelling Verizon preorder).

Admittedly, I had ordered space gray and they only had silver in stock. Silver looks just fine to me, so I got it. Space gray 6 plus I have/had -- has a silverish back anyway. So I'm fine with the color swap. So maybe you guys waiting for preorder, just call around to Verizon stores nearby. It was a like a normal day in this one. A huge store too in a crowded area.
