Just got mine. Unfortunately it's 35 degrees out and I will need to let the phone warm up a bit before I turn it on.
Just a note, if your old phone is running Beta 11.2 the restore will fail and mess you all up. I’m trying to get my X on Beta 11.2 now just so the backup will work.
Mine is not in yet. Won't be home until 430pm anyway. But I passed by a VZW Corporate Store and played with it.

I just checked my post history from when Verizon delivers my 10.5 inch iPad Pro I preordered for launch delivery and I didn't get that until 6:30 pm. Man I hope that isn't the case again this year. I wanted it in time so I could go get my oil changed today.
Had a delivery date of 12/6. Called local Verizon and they had one in... 2houes later, I have it in hand... SG 256 iPhone X...
I'm gonna try and see if I can downgrade my 7+ with 11.1 then back it up. Anyone tried that yet?

Me. I don't want any software glitches on my new phone. Right now my 7+ rotates into landscape then back to portrait really fast almost every time that I unlock it.
Anyone here ordered around 4:30 EDT on pre-order date? i have 256 black and silver and they're not set to deliver until 11/22 and 12/1?

Got mine about 12p EST, shocking we're usually way late in the delivery schedule.
First few minutes impressions:
- Beautiful design (I got white/silver), nice call back to many design elements from the original iPhone
- Camera results are outstanding indoors
- Display is PHENOMENAL

You should be just fine. What they are referring to is the beta of 11.2.
You cannot restore your back up if you are on 11.2, to an iPhone X.
You should be good to go.
