I'll be cancelling my 12/13 order with Verizon as I was able to find a 256GB (grey) at a local (Boston area) Apple store today. The new setup feature makes it a snap. The transition has been very easy so far, FaceID works flawlessly (I found enabling lift to wake seems to speed the process up), and the notch is a no factor (and I'm OCD).
My only gripe so far is that I'm missing my battery % indicator. I hope that is added somehow in a software update.

Verizon Charge for 12/13 delivery date!
Ordered my SG 256GB the night of 10/27 (approx 20 hours after pre order started) and just had my card charged! Status just says pending with no delivery date stated or estimated.
Weird to see this on a Saturday? When can I expect it - wait till Friday?

Nope not weird - the launch day iPhone X first wave charged on the Saturday as well
You should get your phone no later than Wednesday. On Monday morning it will officially ship and by afternoon you should have a shipping email confirmation with 2 day delivery

Totally agree with you I’m missing my percetage indication as well. I’m always swiping down from the right to see how much percent I have. I know it’s not a big deal but yes it is something I looked at often and something that I miss too.
I second. I got the phone on the launch day after pre-ordering it at the preorder start time and was able to reserve additional phone for store pick up on the launch day in Verizon website.

Ut-oh. I ordered two phones from Verizon website (a SB 64 and a silver 64) on 11/12 and my order says processing with no date now, so I checked my CC and I was charged half of the invoice amount. I expect I will only get one of the phones. Either my husband or I will be happy for Thanksgiving and the other of us will be sad.

What you're looking for is that 12/06/2017 date to disappear. That's when they start processing it.
Ordered my 256GB Silver on 11/7. I had an expected ship date of 12/6 but I couldn't wait any longer so I went to the istocknow site and surprising quite a few Targets have the phone in stock (mostly only the silver 256GB) so I went to my local Target and I signed up with Verizon right there. Only took 30 minutes and I had the phone in my hands. Super easy process for anybody who like me is impatient.
I'm very impatient lol. But I will try not to think about it. Big change for me coming from Android . Using Android for about 10 years now. Tired of the fragmentation bugs and lags.
