Carrier The Verizon iPhone X Pre-Order and Dispatch Thread

My FedEx page says it got on the truck at 8am pacific time so now the wait game, says it can deliver up till 8pm tonight...:eek: I guess I could have gone to the gym early this morning but got caught up on some work so guess that is OK too.

I had Zagg on my 6+ and my first 6s+ but then apple store replaced my 6s+ because of a weird malfunction it would do and Apple Store did not carry any glass protectors. I am hoping I am pick up a Zagg this weekend right away.
 
Any screen protector and case (so far that I have, including the super slim cases) fit just fine. Going from 7+ to 8+

I was sitting in a work meeting a nervous wreck because I was worried FedEx would come during the meeting. Fortunately they haven't come yet, unfortunate though because I'm so excited

Out for delivery.. Quick question how long does it take (estimated) to transfer from 6s to the 8 using iCloud option?
 
that depends entirely on how much stuff you have to transfer and the speed of your connection.

I have used many different glass screen protectors and the best, IMO, is the Tech Armor glass screen protectors. They have the best fit and the edges rarely peel up or don’t adhere. Spend a couple extra bucks and get a Tech Armor.

strolled in to apple at 8, strolled out at 8:20 phone in hand. missed the in store pickup preorder window, so no preorder for me.
 
FedEx came to work early and I have my phone! Verizon. Actually did get the address updated somehow! :) pics later as I'm at work and have to wait to set it up :(. The back of the silver def looks white

I'd say more concrete gray...it's pretty far from white...
 
So, after watching that Angela video I'm a bit confused.

Should I pre order the X though the Apple app instead of through Verizon?

Which is easier / better?

i tried to order last night it won't let me pickup in store. Called VZ this morning rep got it order for pickup today. 2 hours on the phone, the rep is so nice and I feel bad for keeping her on the phone that long.

Phone is ready for pick up but have wait until I'm off work.
 
So I am looking to buy an unlocked X during the upcoming presale but I do not have a Verizon account.

What is stopping me from using a friends login and buying a phone on their account and paying with a 1-time payment? Does the iPhone have to be tied to a specific number during the sale and if not what impact does pre-ordering a phone have on someones Verizon account?
 
Waited out the storm, ordered for in store pickup around 8am this morning. Went off without a hitch and said there were models matching in stock. Have not had any movement on my order and CS states it’s just a waiting game now.
 
Well UPS just brought me this, now just waiting on FedEx! :cool:
