That’s strange. Never seen a preorder show shipped that fast.

Got my order in about 6 minutes before 3:00 EST, checked order status, mine shows as shipped and sitting in TN, I'm assuming once your order goes through they attach it to a box that is sitting waiting for a delivery. Anyone else getting this info?
 
My order is showing up in my online account and says. 11/3 Processing. No confirmation e-mail yet from Verizon though makes me nervous that something is not right.
 
FWIW, Verizon's website from about 2:58a (EST) through to my order completion at around 3:00-3:01 was fast, pages loaded instantly, my CC processing to confirmation page was just seconds. I think SHTF around 2-3 minutes past the "official" pre-order start.

I had my email confirmation _before_ Apple.com was even back up! :D

Exactly the same experience I had. So fired up for a launch day iPhone.

How did you check your order status?

I clicked the email section that says view online on the top of email header, then clicked order status, is asked for preorder or order number. I entered the order number not the preorder. it also asks for last name, clicked enter and then it asked for location code. entered that number in and then it showed fed-ex tracking information on a 4 lb package sitting in Memphis TN. (i ordered 2 iphones so that sounds about right in weight.)
I tried to pull the info back up but now it wont show me the tracking info just showing "processing"
If I do manage to get it to show i'll screen shot and post.
 
You Managed to keep plan and it is allegedly going to be shipped on 11/3

As stated above...only 3-5 week wait for the 256 gig. Doesn’t sound like a bad shortage to me. Thank god Verizon site opened for business early lol

I got my pre-order with an 11/3 date, but they are trying to screw me on the upgrade fee. I ordered through the app and still had to pay the $30 fee. I was told by an agent via their support chat hours ago that I would not be. They told me that if I was however, they would correct it for me. Now they are pushing back.
 
Got my order confirmation for the silver 64 X, 11/10 delivery. Not bad. Has anyone ever not activated the phone and just took it to some other company by just inserting the SIM? (AT&T in this case for me).
 
Saw there was some discussion about the X not being eligible for annual upgrades.

Clipped and pasted here for all of our sanity moving forward...lol.

The part that makes this weird is it had us accept the statement that we are not eligible for annual upgrades in order to proceed through with your preorders..
 
Now we get to watch and see if our CC starts to deny payment because of fraud protection. Last time around it did for me, so this time around, I used my debit card.
 
And of course I fell asleep before setting my 1:30AM alarm. Oh well.

I just ordered. Space Grey 64GB (I ordered 256GB last year and it ended up being overkill for me, personally)

11/15 delivery date. Going off of last year's iPhone 7 Plus order, it ended up being delivered early. Here's to hoping.

EDIT: I was also charged the $30 upgrade fee.

On my orders page it still says processing and says Expected Ship Date = 11/03/2017. Does that mean I get it that day or ships that day?

Other people also like this on their my orders page?

When I ordered mine it said deliver by 11/03 but in my orders it says ship by 11/03. I don’t know which one to believe because even 10 minutes after I ordered it still showed delivery by 11/03 on the pre order page.

For some unknown reason I pre-ordered for 3 different lines, yet the first one i pre-ordered despite the original date saying 11/3 the email says 11/15 for space gray 256gb. 5 minutes after I placed that one I placed an order for a 256gb space gray on another line on my account and that delivery is 11/10, so ordering 5 minutes later actually got a better delivery date, really strange
 
They offered to refund me 20% of the $30 upgrade fee I should not have been charged...so $6. No. Not good enough.
 
I'm still waiting for my confirmation email, placed the order at 12:10, status still showing pending with ship date around 11/3. Does Verizon charge the credit card the full price? Or spreading out into 24 payments? I did not see that option when I ordered it, it doesn't really matter tho
 
I didn't have any caffeine but I am still too wired to go back to sleep (I have to be up at 5 am anyways for work) but I can relate!
I had issues. I couldn't get my phone ordered silver 256 GB until 3:19 using Verizon app. Their website kept quoting me to pay full price even though I chose monthly installments. No clue when ship date is. They didn't show that neither does my email.

I received an alert from Chase. I confirmed I authorized the purchase and it seems like it’s fine.
 
FINALLY was able to get one at 3:07AM (CT), it ONLY took an hour of extreme frustration and trying to get Verizon's stupid enterprise pages to load. I had to settle for a Silver 256GB with a delivery date of 11/15. Black 256GB is already out top 12/1.

Sigh. There HAS to be a better way for us business/enterprise customers. Their website for us is awful.
 
So, my local Verizon Rep sent me a link at 6:00 PM. I kept a close eye on the link and the app. When the app had the countdown timer to 5 minutes left the link he gave me had 25 SECONDS left. So when the link opened up I ordered straight away and was able to get a delivery date of 11/03. I am an account manager. However, when checking out for the email notifications and contact number it listed my mom's old COX email which we no longer have access to and our home phone which we disconnected earlier this year. I didn't change anything because I was too scared something would go wrong. So now how can I get notifications on shipping and order info due to not being able to use current information? Can I ask Verizon to change the email? I'm scared that it'd delay my delivery date. So if it would can I just track shipping through the Orders section on the Verizon website?
Also do you think Verizon / apple stores will have screen protectors and other accessories in on launch day?
 
Those of us that ordered with a delivery date of 11/3 (both online and in the confirmation email)....are you now seeing a SHIP date of 11/3 if you check through the Verizon order status website? I am.
