I don't think there is a fix for the black background. It seems to happen when icons are not the normal shape.

Use maskmuter in cydia to get rid of latent black background. Works perfect.

Then it might be a regional thing? Maps might have a different name in other countries.

All of the icons are the wrong size, they do not work with the updated theme. The new icon size is 120x120. If there is a style of icon that you want then you are welcome to make a request.
That Cydia icon is on the first page.

It helps Enzo if you can grab the icon from iFile and post the icon here. Some games requested can be paid and he might be unable to get an icon to convert. Just a heads up.
