I'm only using a little less than half of the 64g on my iphone 8, so I would be fine. But, if I was spending $1000 or more on a new phone I would want more storage.

Some of the 64 GBs will sell, and I'm sure many of those buyers will regret it in the long-term. But the purpose of the 64 GB model is to make the real starting price $1,249 while advertising $1,099 instead.

With an iCloud account and Photos in the cloud, there's really no need for anything larger in my book. But 64GB of memory on a $1099 device is still absolutely ridiculous.

Here we go again. Now that everyone will be recording 4K 60fps footage and taking three photos at once with their iPhone 11... yikes. A repeat of the 16 GB iPhone 6s. (sigh)

The 6s is still a usable smartphone even today, but I feel sorry for anyone who got one of those with 16 GB.
I have 1080 videos on my phone, 235 of which have been recorded in 4K since the launch of the XS Max. Ive got over 29,000 photos and an entire music library. I’ve got 129 apps installed.

Still got 20gb left of the 64gb storage. Seems less of a problem because of iCloud...

It's actually remarkable how many people buy 64GB because everything is now cloud based. If you have the data for it, your music, videos and photos are streamed from the cloud. I don't have unlimited data so I need the storage, but if I had unlimited data...64GB would be more than enough for me. Save photos and videos to iCloud and deleted them from the phone. Stream music via Google Play Music.

I have a 64 11 and have 25 gb free and I'll bet that most iPhone users are fine with 64 - not the people on this forum. My wife has 10 apps - no videos, a few pictures and that is all. I bet she is a very typical user. As someone said Apple's vision is everything in the cloud so you don't need much iPhone storage

You know what, 64gb to start is fine I get it. My real gripe is I need to upgrade to 256GB on the 11 Pro while the 11 owners can get 128gb. Why can't the pro have 128gb option? I went with 64gb on my XS just to spite Apple as it is either too little or too much. I am doing OK with 64gb but much rather have 128gb.
