With the new Apple Reminders features like Tags & Smart Lists in iOS/iPadOS 15 & macOS 12, there is now becoming very few reasons to used paid apps if you're 100% in the Apple ecosystem. And sharing works good also...
This. Reminders has so much features now that it can replace even OmniFocus for many folks. Smart lists and tags, location based reminders, and lists sharing are advanced features made easy.

Is Things 3 the best todo app or is there something better?
Wounderlist is best simple To Do list app.

Microsoft To Do list is similar to Wounderlist but I hate the UI of Microsoft To Do list and like Wounderlist UI better.

If I just want something simple to create a basic checklist without having the need to set a time or date I found this handy app.

The developer is an iOS engineer at Doist, working on Todoist and Twist.

The app below is one of his side projects. You can check out his website at:

To bad it is not multi-platform :(

Sorry, but on what planet does Things 3 do more than Omnifocus 3 Pro? Hint: there isn't one.

Heck, just show me where Things 3 does the weekly review?

Okay so I set this thing up, and quite frankly, I don't get what makes it better than Todoist? Or Omnifocus for that matter?
I wouldn't say it's better, just better for me. The main thing I like about Things over ToDoist is that Things has both start and due dates; I tried ToDoist but found it difficult working without those. And of course Omnifocus is more powerful than Things. But as someone whose to do list needs aren't that complicated, the relative simplicity of Things is worth the loss in power for me. At least for now.
