If Samsung would scale back the bloatware and go for more of a pure android experience I would check them out. My wife just got the Samsung 8plus and while I think it’s interesting it’s overloaded with duplicate apps half of which are Samsung branded that android already has stock.
For me, my iPhone se handles daily tasks fine and does everything I need a phone to do.
Am looking forward to what September holds for Apple though.

Simply delete, disable, or not use the apps you dont want to use. Some of us actually appreciate the extra apps
samsung includes in our devices. No one is telling you to keep it as it is since android can be fully customized unlike your iPHone.

I am sure battery life improvements will come with time, but I have no issue in that area for my 7 plus. In regards to fast charging, it would definitely be welcome, as long as it is done in a safe manner and is not damaging to the phone.

Many carriers do not allow Samsung apps to be deleted or disabled. If you like hem by all means keep them. I would prefer to have an option to delete them entirely and as said many carriers will not allow it here in the USA.

12 hours of usage and you’re still at 55%? No way. You must play or stream a ton of music with the screen off. I can get to about 10-11 hours with about 25% left, and that’s on a good day.
Not to be rude but I felt the same way. My wife has an iPhone 7+ and her phone is always almost dead. Many times I try to call her and she doesn't answer... then later she text and say her phone died on her. I hope for my first iPhone 8 has a big size battery and fast charging options.

Does she not charge it every night? I have a 7+ pretty bogged down with several email accounts (work related, constant messages), reddit all day, facebook/twitter/instagram running, and have never had my 7+ die in the span of a single day. 7ish hours screen time is not unusual.

How's your cellular signal? In my experience, poor signal can be major killer.

Add MST support to Apple Pay to actually make it useful. I use Samsung Pay all the time since it works almost everywhere save for gas stations and ATMs. As it stands Apple and Android Pay are non starters since only a small minority of merchants have NFC terminals.

Are you from the USA by any chance? I doubt Apple or Google are likely to retrofit MST support as it's a dying/dead technology for payments.

I don’t really care whether it’s dying or dead as long as it actually replaces my wallet, which Samsung Pay is a helluvalot closer to achieving compared to Apple Pay. None of the major grocery store chains in my area take Apple Pay, neither does CVS, neither do most restaurants or department stores in the mall. Oh, and I’m in LA, which is a pretty major city.

Sadly, it's probably a case of simply waiting until your shops/restaurants install more modern payment systems to make Apple Pay and Android Pay more useful for you because I think you'll be waiting forever for Apple or Google to add MST to their payment platforms. I could be wrong, but given Apple's stance on outdated technology, I wouldn't hold out much hope of them supporting it.

I guess it's just hard luck for you based on your location!

Lol really......not true...there's always a way with android.

I would delete Apple's photos app and even safari if I could on a iPad but I can't since I absolutely don't use those apps. You have absolutely no way to delete Apple's preinstalled apps for the most part while you are complaining.

I'm pretty sure Samsung owns the patents for MST after buying LoopPay, but I agree it would have been welcome.

All my local supermarkets take Apple Pay, and cvs has their own app for phone payment that works pretty good.

In the UK Apple Pay works pretty much everywhere. Starting from a little corner shop to restaurants, bars, gas stations, supermarkets, public transport, you name it.

Yep in my area nearly every shop uses Apple Pay. Even the little newsagent on my street

Thought there'd be a few things listed above I'd be interested in, but alas, nothing really significant jumps out at me.

But what I've always wanted for CarPlay (& on the iPhone itself)...
Include Google Assistant/Maps & have the option for default Voice Assistant/Navigation App.

Not Samsung, but non-Apple....best I could do.

Apple had a disagreement with Google about providing their services as default option. It'll never happen.
