Love the beams of white coming in through the windows, had to highlight them.

I think I'll have a go at this photo in video mode, with the light from the window travelling across the scene as if a car is passing by.

will revert with my take soon as possible, as I am already swamped with two vids I have to deliver by Friday

I usually don't post much in this section of the forums (mainly cause I don't take a lot of photos...especially good ones) but I saw this and thought I'd participate. First off I like the original shot, what got me interested was the light coming in from the outside. It made me think of the interior as sort of like a 'fallen' cathedral... So with the little Photoshop skills I have (a slow work day helped) I wondered if I could get a stained glass feel for the interior. I could go on about the 'story' I made up about it and what I don't like about the mods I did... but I'll just present it as is.

Note the grain is due to file compression so I could get it on MR.

I LOVE this idea for a "competition". I'm always amazed to see the artistic vision some people come up with from the same photo. Hopefully this is something that'll keep going.

I noticed a distinct lack of Keanu Reeves doing kung fu in the photograph, so I attempted to remedy this:

Another along the lines of Raid's cathedral

Raid, inspired by your cathedral approach - this one took a couple of minutes to achieve in Capture One's colour editor. Comments always appreciated.

It's not a contest.

You folk knock yourselves out. Well, no don't do that…but yeah, post photos 'n stuff.

Is there a time when we are deciding when we switch to the 'next photo' or are we just having a free for all?

Also, is everyone just using LR and Aperture for their edits?

I think each photo should get 5 edits before next photo is posted? What do you think?
I think software should be whatever people want to use.

5 seems good or maybe we leave it a couple of days (incase everyone finds the image too hard to edit?) I'm keen to submit one at some point but don't want to jump in on other people's photos!

I'm happy for anyone to edit however they want. I was more curious about how everyone was choosing to edit!

Naturally, I thought this digital photography thread would provide me with a great opportunity to improve my HTML5 skills, so here is my submission for the previous image. If no picture is visible at first, wait a second and refresh the page.

Because it's all Canvas/JS-based, you can even use it on your mobile devices.

Truly world-class! I think we have hit the pinnacle for this thread!
