How many texts do you have on your phone? Give a guess. It seems as the more texts I store in my phone, the quality of my phone is deteriorating. People aren't getting my texts. I'm not getting peoples texts. And so on.

I have over 20,000 currently on my phone. I would delete them if I had a place to nicely store them on my computer.

20,000? Jeez and why would you need to keep all of those?
 
Check out this, its a trial version, but its for windows, it apparently will copy all of your iphone text message over to windows as a backup

Either way it looks like there are ways to copy your texts to windows so you can free up some space on your iphone and not worry about losing your important conversations ;)
 
i text alot. probably betweem 2k and 4k a month.
yet i keep the conversations clean and not too full.
 
The question is: Would you have the problems stated above (other's not receiving texts) if you have a large number of SMS in your phone. I'm too having this problem. I have about 11000 SMS in my phone.

I also text a lot and have some very important conversations. I have one conversation right now with over 10000 messages. Im not sure if its because I have too many messages, but for some reason since last night whenever I sync my phone Syphone won't show any new messages. Before yesterday I was just under 10000 and now im slightly over that mark. Has anyone heard of a cap on how many messages can be saved under one conversation? Also, could it be iTunes 8.1 causing the problem? I didnt have a problem before.
 
I don't know exactly how many texts I have, but I would say around 15,000 to 20,000 at least.
I still have texts from September 5th, 2008. (Before I even used my 3G)
 
I think I might have you all beat...my inbox was full as of last night. Ironic.
So that's...75,000 texts? 100,000? I don't remember the capacity. I go through about 13,000-14,000 texts a month.

Ha, good job. It's 75,000.

I know how many texts I have in my phone because I look at my online bill. I sent/received over 8,000 in 1 month. I average about 4,000-5,000 now.

Holy crap, i've had that message appear three times! :| Never knew there were that many

I need to stop texting...
