I'm trying to check something here. I know, that it is quite stupid but I was wondering if it is the older group that hates it and the younger ones that love the UI.

It will be interesting to see a trend here.

I am 21 years old, and I love Yosemite.

Jony Ive is 47, and has final approval on the look and feel. I think that should answer your question -- age has nothing to do with it.

34 - Like it. Hate some of the inconsistencies, like you can't "see" the top bar but you have to click on it to move reminders or notes windows.

51 - and it looks like it was designed by a 5 year old

And speaking of a 5 year old. Was it necessary for a 51 year old to have this as a sig ?

don't see it as anything more than a fad that hasn't even got the saving grace of at least being consistent.

At 46 Im old enough to have lived through the era of horrific bad taste flared trousers, yet young enough not to have had any choice in the matter.. Maybe that's got something to do with it :p
