20, I'm in favor of a more skeuomorphic look in OS X... I don't mind Yosemite's GUI, but it reminds me of KDE 4 (not that being similar is a bad thing)... I suppose I'd best declare my final word as indecisive.

You and your darn generation and your polls! When I was a kid we had to walk in 3 feet of snow to get a poll, and nobody just handed it to us! You kid's with your fancy smart phone and such! When we were kids,it was two cans and a bit of string and we were happy! OSX this and OSX that, that's the problem with young folk today, they have no idea how to run a good OS like system7!

ps: 53 and don't mind it. (It's no Tiger, but what would you kids know about a good OS anyways! :p )

I totally get your sentiments, my generation is definitely spoiled. But don't forget your generation raised us, you spoiled us with your inventions :p But at the same time, thank you for spoiling us with your inventions.

Wouldn't a poll be more practical for these types of questions?

Yes. I think the option is in the menu bar beneath the breadcrumbs, in the Thread Tools menu.

tkwolf, I'm forty-nine and three quarters.

Really poor ,mails crashes internet slow and macbook takes for ever to load. …

What about the looks … the user interface, the UI (just the UI): do you (a) hate the UI, (b) love the UI? Or neither?

And please, how old are you?

68. Ground-floor Mac user (512K, SE); mid-2011 Mini, 16GB RAM, original 5400 rpm drive. Yosemite upgrade a thing of beauty, no problems, speedy, clean UI.

Wanted even more speed and now booting off a Crucial MX100 256GB SSD on an external Seagate Thunderbolt sled. This baby motors and I didn't have to touch a screw!

I am 22-years-old, I like the Yosemite design, but I wanted it to be even more like iOS 7.

33. I really like it by now. Tried to go back a few times in the beta stage, but going back just isn't an option anymore. It never is, imo.

33 - I like it. Although sometimes I get so UI glitches. Like a strange blockiness in translucent blur effect at times. I'll take a screenshot next time I see it.

I'm trying to check something here. I know, that it is quite stupid but I was wondering if it is the older group that hates it and the younger ones that love the UI.

It will be interesting to see a trend here.

I am 21 years old, and I love Yosemite.
