I totally understand why they do it; they want their machine they worked really hard to afford to stay flawless. I see your point, though. I actually moved away from cases when I realized they were causing more damage than not using them. Dirt would get in and scratch the **** out of metal. I just use a sleeve now. It’s not perfect though; my iPad slid across my space gray mbp and marked it up. Can’t fix the marks though. The iPad removed the anodization.I will never understand why people buy these beautiful machines, and then put them in cases. It'd be like buying a beautiful piece of mid century modern furniture and covering it in plastic always.
