that's just rumors, tomorrow is tuesday, so new notebooks, g5s and mid towers, don't know about tablets, sorry
You will be able to get a new phone and and upgrade. The 6 months you have left will go on your new 18 month contract (or whatever the new plan is) and you will owe for however long. They will let you upgrade much like you can trade in a car. It just goes on your contract. Even if the contract is $20 more a month they will let you do it.

I hate the whole "3G, 2G" naming scheme. How about the first generation, and the 3G?
Whoever started this post was a fracking loser. You call it the iPhone 4G, but then say you weren't referring to network speeds? That would mean it was the fourth iPhone, and there's only been two. I hate stupid people.

Seriously. If you don't know what you're talking about, use more words. "Timeframe for next-generation iPhone?" If you don't know that 3G stands for the cellular data/voice technology, you really are a noob on here or just haven't been paying attention.
Actually new iPhones are coming out in June so you telling him to get a life kinda makes you look dumb.

I believe competition will require apple to up grade the iphone at lest once a year or lose their postion in the industry.
Didnt Apple sa that the iPhone product cycle is every summer?
I mean they update everything else once a year why not the iPhone as well.
The Mobile industry moves way too fast for Apple NOT to update the iPhone every year whetherit is major or not it will happen. I dont expect them to do anything major until next year but there will be an update this year.

realized I already responded, the next iPhone will be the 3rd generation of the iPhone I think he meant 4th Gen not 4G.
4G is currently the highest mobile network speed used by sprint their new line of phones. so yes the new iphone will more than likely have the potential to use 4G when it comes out.
Umm, not it most likely won't, if it comes out this summer like expected, seeing as how iPhone runs on ATT not sprint.

Back then the 3G HAD just came out, however you're right TS, he was confusing the 4G network with the 4th Generation of iPhone. But still, you have to pay attention to the dates.
