You guys remember the good old days when a jailbreak would be released within a week of an update? Oh man, these were good times.

I'm still sitting here on 9.0.2 with a stable phone but iTunes won't see it unless in dfu mode. Can't backup or sync music due to some software conflict not related to any apps. Pain in my ass.

I guess those days are gone. I really hope some new jailbreak is released soon!

I've all but given up, don't even go to r/jailbreak as much. Apple must be in their glory.

I'm using my 5S and 6+ jailbroken and set aside my 6S+ and 6S until I can JB them. My iPad Mini 2 is also jailbroken.

I'm have no problem waiting.

Something is odd with mine. It's not tweak related too. Ah well. Once a new JB comes out it will be fixed. Funny that iPhoto works fine but iTunes does not. Only work around was using a 3rd party software to sync music.

Do you have a Mac. And if so is it running Snow Leopard? Apple cut support for Snow Leopard Macs with iDevices running iOS 9.

I'm tired of waiting as well. I haven't jail broken iOS 9 at all and I want to jailbreak so bad. I don't know what these jailbreak devs are doing

Is it better to stay on ios 9.2.1 waiting for a jailbreak or it is the same to upgrade to 9.3.1?

there's a lot of people whining over something they didn't create or even pay for. i mean really if it's that important to you then become a developer

When was this? iOS 7 took like 3 months or more to jailbreak. iOS 6.1.2+ took like 5 months to be released. iOS 8 took longer than a week. So did iOS 9. If I recall most of the previous jailbreaks took longer than a week.

I am hoping there's a JB soon. I have a number of niggling issues I know would be fixed by a restore. The most annoying being whatsapp alerts don't come through so I don't know I've got a message until I look at the phone.

Still. I'll wait patiently!

Back in the day of iOS 3-4, jailbreaks would be released left, right and centre, then there was a community for jailbreaking, now the jailbreaking community is cancer.

My 6S+ came with 9.2.1. Got sick of waiting, upgraded to 9.3.1 and been waiting ever since. Every day I miss all the brilliant tweaks I had on my good ol' 6. I wouldn't call iOS unusable without a JB, but there are so many little annoyances that really make me contemplate leaving the iPhone behind if there's no JB in the near future.

back in the day there were more security holes to exploit, it's called evolution look it up. nothing more ignorant than bringing up the past to the present.

Have you tried reinstalling iTunes? The same thing happened to me last week and I am not jailbroaken at the moment. iTunes just refused to recognize my iPhone. What I did was, complete uninstall of iTunes and all related Apple software. After that, installed iTunes again and that was it. iTunes and iPhone are happy together again :)

Ironic that you mention the word ignorant in that reply, I'm sure you won't get it though.

I tried reinstalling iTunes and multiple computers / cables. It's an odd issue that I can't find a workaround.
