I dunno about the 9.1 JB, but the 9.0.2 JB is pretty solid.

My phone will randomly power down about 1x per week. Still haven't identified the exact conditions...at one point, it seemed shaking the phone vigorously did it.
I haven't suffered any of that and I've been jailbroken on 9.0.2 since it was released (the very day).

Never suffered BLoD or anything like that. Been very solid for me.

9.0.2 is so damn unstable it isn't even funny. My fiance's old 6S was jailbroken on it before she demolished the phone :( Now my SE is (obviously) on 9.3.1 and it's stable as can be. Hope one comes before iOS10 but if it doesn't it, at this point, I just check r/jailbreak once a day and then resume business as usual. I hate stock iOS but there are a few things I can do w/out a jailbreak that a lot of people don't know about.

All the legacy devices are still jailbroken along with one of the Air 2's.
Huh!

My wife's 6s is jaillbroken on 9.0.2. I have heard zero complaints in the last six or seven months about stability or anything else. My usual problem with her is trying to get her to restart her phone from time to time.

My own 6s+ has been rock solid and I have over 160 tweaks installed.

Lot of people on r/jailbreak have issues with that iOS build and jailbreak. I think my fiance's 6S was just a lemon from the get go prior to jailbreak as her battery was absolute crap on stock and jailbroken.

Been without a jailbreak for the past few months (free replacement due to a screen issue, and I wasn't lucky with the iOS that it came with). Before that, I was happily on 8.4 (jailbroken, of course) for several months. Being stock is painful -- to the point where I went out and got an Android to use for a few weeks (and I enjoyed it). iOS with a jailbreak is perfect IMO. The second a new jailbreak comes out (if ever), I'll probably be so happy to the point of tears :').

What screen issue I'm curious

Mines on 9.0.2 jail broken dust in upper left corner but no uneven top or yellow blobs like on two 6s plus I had close to launch that developed in same corner.

Even when next jb comes not sure I'll bother to swap fora screen repair or replacement. Maybe. But there will likely be other problems with the other one

I'm set to get an iPhone, coming from years of Nexus phones and Samsung ROM'd phones, but I won't without a current Jailbreak. What happened ?

I recall earlier this year, seemed every site out there was saying the next JB would drop shortly after the big 9.3 official release. Well that came and went and still no public Jailbreak release

Here are some videos:

The Apple Store swapped it (the entire 6+) out immediately, no questions asked.

Really hoping there's a JB soon.

My battery has gone to the dogs. I'm getting 3/4 hours usage on my 6s where before I was getting 8/9.

And my phone has started to crash several times a week. Just restarts itself randomly.

I've installed crash reporter but to be completely honest it all looks like jibberish to me. The phone crashed during the night (asked for passcode when I woke up stating the phone had restarted). Crash reported says Filepeovider crashed an hour ago and lists several associations including Anemone, Mikoto, Bioprotect, Flex, HidemeX, Nitrous, Speed intensified and a load of others.

So I have a crash report but have 0 idea what it actually means.

I would think JB would come second to getting the battery and device restarts addressed...but maybe that's just me.

I genuinely find a non jailbroken iPhone absolutely awful. I never even think about upgrading my phone until the jailbreak is out.

The icons alone are so awful I couldn't stand to look at them day in day out. Then there's the stupid icons names cluttering up the home screen making it look incredibly over crowded. I don't need names of the apps. I downloaded them, I know very well what they are. Also I'd have to look at the bilious vomit green message bubbles. It's also like treacle thanks to the massive lag caused by the ridiculously slow animations.

That is before you even get into functionality. Cccontrols. Bioprotect. The ability to select all/delete all in mail. Folders in folders. No icon limit per folder. Etc etc.

You may wonder why I got an iPhone at all. Simple. There's no better phone than a jailbroken iPhone.

Unless it's crashing several times a day or the battery gets so bad I'm plugging it in every hour then I'll hold out for the JB as long as I possibly can.

100% agree. Stock iOS just blows, and now compared to Android N, iOS feels like 10 years dated and prehistoric.

No need to preach to me about the many advantages of JBing, but still if your battery needs fixing and other problems exists...those would be paramount.

I plan to stay on 9.0.2 for awhile...maybe for the life of this phone.

Aside from a weekly turn-off, the only other problem I have is that battery life stats always show blank.

It's not at the point of being a big problem as of yet.

If it gets to be then I know I'll have no option but to restore and lose my Jailbreak. I had hoped there would be a JB long before now (as we all did). But it's obviously not been the case.

The crashing is new so I assume is due to an update of an app/tweak.

All I can do is wait and hope the JB comes before I NEED to restore.

Oddly it's the little things that annoy me more than the big things. I can deal with no having the toggles I want in control centre. I can't deal with icon names. I can deal with having to select emails I want to delete one by one (although seriously Apple, sort it out) I can't deal with having a ton of icons in the status bar (rotation lock, VPN - no date).

For some reason it's the small things that really bother me.

Life would be so much easier if I liked android. Mind you I've not used it for a while. I will be giving it a go when upgrade time rolls around (not that that will be for a while yet) then I'll not have to worry about jailbreaks!
[doublepost=1464311702][/doublepost]Slightly OT. Does anyone know what 'FileProvider' is?

Crash reporter keeps alerting me to it having crashed. But I've no idea what it is. The phone doesn't crash when this does. Nothing changes at all.

I lost my jailbreak upgrading to 9.1 as I didn't restore as a new phone at the time. Completely screwed the pooch right when Apple stopped signing. So now I'm on 9.2 just waiting and waiting.. and.. waiting.

That's the background process for Google Photos and Google Drive. It will keep crashing and it does in fact take a toll in the sense of slowing the phone down over time/battery.

This may be why you're having batter issues. Uninstall those and see what happens.

Thanks. I discovered that last night after a bit of googling.

Have uninstalled google drive and it hasn't crashed since!

So is it best to not have google photos and drive on a jailbroken phone? I'm on iOS 8.4 if that matters.

Can you tell me what tweak is used to select all/delete for mail? Much appreciated!

I'm curious myself.

On a side note: I've been playing around with the Spark mail app for the last 4+ months now and it really impresses me.

The Smart Inbox is dead on...it filters the non-essential emails like Newegg fliers, Amazon suggestions, etc to a different section allowing you to batch delete them easily and painlessly. Notification emails are in its own subsection, etc. When you want to turn the Smart Inbox off to see the emails without subdividing them...one keypress does that.

So far, not one misfiled email w/Smart Inbox.

i wish this app was around when I first opened my main email account. I have hundreds of non-essential emails from years ago that is just too time-consuming to clean up now!

I'm seriously considering switching from the Apple mail app to Spark.

Yeah, unfortunately. I had an issue with crashing back when I had this installed. Since my main cloud service is Dropbox I just removed them.

Cheers, I will leave it on my Air 2 in that case. It is okay on non jailbroken devices I take it.
