If you are happy and feel comfortable using MacOS get yourself a mac.
Im using a 13" 2015 Macbook pro at home and a 13" 2016 (the usb-c one) Macbook pro and a MS Surface PRO at work.
I like them all three but if I would get a new one I would prob get the regular Macbook.
Main reason for it is the formfactor which I think is better.
If the Air had a better screen I'd go for that one.
One thing that IS better on the Mac is patch-management, with all the PC's i've come across there is always a bit of a mess trying to sort out BIOS and drivers.
Even MS has problems delivering patches to their own machines.
I am a PC guy from the start and I do like both systems, but as I said in the begining, if you are happy with MacOS, stick to it.
