No, it's not. Have a link?

Just go to iTunes and Search TomTom US. It is there, but I'm not sure about spending $90 for an app when I have a Garmin that works just fine. Would sure like the one device ability but not for $90.

I could probably spend a little bit more and get a dedicated GPS. How do we get that package with the car dock and charger?

The marketing guys at TomTom need to find a new occupation. The choice of screenshots are terrible, however if those screenshots are indicative of what the app looks like, well then the app looks pretty crappy.

Doesn't look like the app has lane assist or reality view, both of which i think navigon and igo my way have. Anything less is a deal breaker. i can't believe it took tomtom that long to push the app out.

however, if the app can do much more than the screenshts indicate, then they really need to select better screenshots, and provide a more useful laundry list of functionality/feature in the description.

I'd love to have a turn-by-turn navigation app, but like others say $99 is a bit of a stretch. I guess I'll wait and see until I see more reviews on the App Store.

I purchased TomTom US & Canada about 1/2 an hour ago and honestly i prefer Navigon over this. The things that i like about the TomTom is that is loaded with features but the UI is horrible.

Im going to be posting screenshots later.

Ouch...$99--that is pricey for just a map! Hopefully TomTom reconsiders this..

I would be very interested in seeing some better screenshots of tomtom. also, does it have lane assist or reality view? anything that tomtom does better than navigon? thanks.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A400 Safari/528.16)

99 bones for software? Maybe if they had kicked in $50 when I bought the phone...

freaking A!! i know it would be expensive, but... geeze.

Actually I kinda expected this to be the exact price. $100 for app $25 for cradle. But I was hoping they would have a special initial deal (like navigon) where the cradle and app could be bundled for $100...

I suppose that could still happen then the cradle is released.. whenever that is...

Ok so even though Navigon has a better UI (from what I can tell), does TomTom have better routing/more accurate maps and a better POI database? The UI is important but if the data on the UI is less accurate/reliable it doesn't mean that much...

too many threads

on this I think there are already 3 of them I guessing there will be more though and I will let others pay the 99 bucks and review I also see a sale in Tomtom's future.

Yikes. Okay so a $30 difference here, I have until Aug 31st to make up my mind between this or Navigon. Hopefully we get some really detailed reviews soon for this here.

Will watch the reviews here and elsewhere before deciding. I'm surprised TomTom got their act together and released it this soon.

I'd like to see how much the mount will be and if it would work with other apps such as Navigon. I doubt it will, but if it's just a GPS chipset maybe it will. Then again, there's probably something in the TomTom app software that will allow it to use the chip that other apps won't be privy to. As you can see, I have no app development background/understanding :)
