Hello everyone!
I have noticed that everyday my new Black Ipad pro 9.7 to get a white haze of fingerprints. Ok, i know that this is normal but with my previous iPad 2 I never had this issue. Now i can see a lot. Do you have this issue on your Black or white iPads. Here you are a comparative with my previous iPad 2.

Thank you for you help!

That is pretty darn gross. Only take a minute or two a day to keep my iPad screen sparkling. Looks like you iPad was used by people eating fried chicken.

Just a little effort on your part would avoid this.

Its looks really, really messy. Wow.
Maybe you should check if you can make an update or something.

I've noticed a difference in the screen as well. Went to clean it the other night to watch Game of Thrones. Usually about 15 seconds of cleaning is all it would take on my iPad 4, but the Pro took a few minutes. The end result of course was worth it - beautiful picture and great sound - but it's more of a pain to clean than in the past.

With any iphone or ipad i always wipe down the screen a couple times a day for the first few months, then i gradually stop giving a crap as you really dont see it when the screen is on and i only do it a couple times a month.

Just wash your hands more frequently. It seems like children have been handing it. If you keep your hands washed a few times a day the amount of fingerprints on anything and wear on your keyboard keys (like physical ones) will significantly decrease.

Gee, certainly never thought of that! <roll eyes>

Still doesn't explain why this one shows fingerprints more than my five previous iPads!!

Definitely not a fan of the anti-reflection coating Apple uses. I suppose it is cheaper for them than making a true antiglare matte screen like they used on the now ancient mbp line.

Hah, my daughter's 9.7" Pro gets much worse than that. I just got done cleaning it. I'll say it is definitely worse in that respect versus our iPad 1 and iPad 3 that she used previously. Now, she just turned 5 a couple of weeks ago, so it is bound to be a bit messy.

At least we know Apple is aware of the situation as there is a staff in Apple stores next to the iPad show table always being ready to clean those screens.

It happens with my iPad as well, but I have a silk cloth that wipes it away very easily. Dirty hands contribute a lot but prints and smudges will happen regardless.

I don't have the fingerprint issue, but my screen sometimes gets filled with saliva stains. Seems I spit quite a fair bit when I teach in class.

I've owned the original iPad, an iPad 3, an iPad mini 2, and an iPad Air 2. I've, had 5 iPhones. I've had the 9.7" iPad Pro for three days and the finger prints are driving me crazy. They've never bothered me on any of the other devices. They're also unreasonably hard to remove. I'm considering returning it and going back to th air 2.

You need to just clan the screen once a day and try to relax.

Interesting, I feel like my iPad Pro 9.7 doesn't get near as many fingerprints as my old iPad 2. I assumed that was because the olephobic hadn't worn off yet...But yours looks pretty nasty.

I just picked up a IPP 9.7 this past week and it seems to have more fingerprints than my Mini 2. Kinda makes me wish I got a white face one to have less noticeable smudges along the sides.

Jokes aside, I noticed it too. However, the problem went away after I attached a tempered glass screen protector. A *lot* less finger prints!

I wash my hands quite frequently and both my iPhone and iPad screens still collect fingerprints like crazy, so while it's helpful and good to keep your hands clean, it's hardly a solution to this problem. The fingerprints annoy me, but this is how it goes with most touch screens and I'm used to it at this point.

Hopefully some kind of screen technology comes along that is highly resistant to fingerprint oils. In the meantime, I always keep a good microfiber cloth close by and wipe my screens often.
