Hoping to see an Apple TV with an M4 chip to unleash the full potential of Apple Arcade.

Hope for Front Row 2 software to get what you want with Mac Mini. The most likely way to this super AppleTV is that one.

This should even be towards easy if Apple was willing to do it. Silicon for iDevice (and thus AppleTV) and silicon for Mac is practically the same. So the app is probably quick work if Apple wanted to make this go.

Conceptually, this could scale all the way to Studio or Pro Ultra running Front Row 2 if someone wanted maximum power for this.

My added guesses at desirables to come in 2025 are:
  • Remaining M4 upgrades
  • M5 base/pro/max releases
  • Next iPhones and other releases on an annual schedule
But what I’d most want is resurrection of “just works” focus, including a year or two of bug fixes & refinements vs. more new-new-new in the Oses that leads to buggy-buggy-buggy. I don’t expect this at all, but I’d be most excited about THIS!

M4(or M5?) Ultra based Mac Studio; was ready for the M3 Ultra that never came...definitely ready for the refresh now. I have the pennies saved up and the 2017 iMac Pro is definitely feeling long in the tooth at this point.

Number 1 to me: Mac Studio with a M4 Max or Ultra Chip. Kind of bugs me that Apple refreshes the Mac Mini with M4 chips and releases a MBP with M4 Max versions but won't upgrade the Studios at the same time at least with the same M4 Max processors.
Yep. I love my M1 Studio and it seems this time around the Ultra may finally be a viable option for me as the M4 Max is getting closer to Nvidia 4090 territory, so the M4 Ultra may be able to match or out perform it. Which is great as I want to stop switching back and forth from Windows.
And if the M4 Ultra does outperform the 4090, we can expect a nice uptick in Ultra sales.

I personally am looking forward to seeing the 17 Pro Max along with the new iPhone Air. Hope they come in nice colours. And also the new Home device from Apple. Also waiting for Apple to launch the M4 Macbook Air.

A large minority of us can't use APP because of the included ear tips - odd-shaped, too slippery, and too small in even the largest size.

3rd-party eartips in larger sizes don't work because they don't fit in the charging case.

I hope Apple addresses this but I doubt it.
I agree that the stock tips are trash but my 3rd party foam tips make them stay in my ear rock solid, have a great seal and have no issues getting put back into the charging case.

I’m most excited for the iPhone Air. However, I’ll be a bit disappointed if they include even a small camera bump.

Are they really going to name that new product “Command Center.” It’s such a cringy name imho.

I’m not really looking forward to anything on this list but AirPods Pro 3, but that’s not until the very end of the year. Nothing wrong with my AirPods Pro 2, but I thought that last time about my AirPods Pro, and these are just functionally better is many ways. Looking forward to some more innovation there, and having USB-C, since I have older 2’s.

One feature I’m looking forward to is the iPhone 17 Pro getting a 48mp telephoto lens. It will be nice to have 10x with the same resolution we have now, for when you really need to get the shot. Like when recording a New Jersey drone sighting, lmao. But also just regular telephoto shots with the same clarity and better low light performance with pixel binning, since it has a smaller aperture.

I’m curious if they’ll skip the M5 iPad Pro like they did with the M3. By next autumn I might be ready to upgrade my M1 12.9” Pro. Could probably wait another generation, but I’m starting to be over the 12.9” size and want to move down to 11”. Last year I moved down from a 16” MBP to 14” and have enjoyed the change. Same going from the iPhone Pro Max to the Pro. I think a smaller, more lightweight setup is what I’m moving towards. Especially as performance and features in smaller models is reaching parity and battery life is now in a comfortable level.

So I found 1 person that want the iPhone air. Can I ask why?
Why wanting less battery and less camera to save 2mm. What is the benefit?

A number of us are waiting a bit nervously to see the iPhone SE 4. If it does indeed have an OLED screen, that may be the end of the road for us unless Apple has done something to reduce the issues impacting those who suffer from PWM problems. I personally am quite satisfied with the LCD display on the SE 3. I do not require a higher refresh rate or blacker blacks.

I want Apple to rethink TVOS in 2025 and just combine TVOS and HomeOS into one. I've been seeing a lot of this stuff on Command Center, but it seems like being integrated into the overall HomeOS experience would be more beneficial.

  • In 2025 I am looking forward to an iPhone with more RAM! MORE RAM PLEASE! Really, really, really tired of background apps on iPhone having very limited function because of limited ram.
  • I am hoping the M5 comes out in 2025.
  • Looking forward to a 15inch M4 Macbook Air.
  • Please for the love of god make iPad OS more capable. I will forever dream of running MacOS software on an iPad. I'm not buying any iPads until the OS isn't a joke. iPads are not computers until you stop kneecapping the software.
