Yep I saw that too, and that's the one I've had. Although sometimes that seems to fail and go 1-4 weeks without asking?
Possibly because there's no period where TouchID isn't used for 8 hours or more, or because at some point the passcode is used either due to a restart or for some other reason?

There actually is, I tend to sleep all from 8-10 hours on days off (weekends etc):p

I usualy reboot on Sunday afternoons, but shouldn't it ask me on Saturday then? I'm usualy up to 3-4AM, but I've never seen it until 11AM(those Sunday's I get up at that time). Which is almost 7 days...

No. Saturday afternoon (when you're likely to be actively using it) is when the '6 days without passcode' would run out, so the '8 hours without Touch ID' would happen over night, while you're asleep.

Those of us with less-regular (and often shorter) sleep schedules don't get the regular pattern you do. I've gone months without the passcode triggering, at times, because the phone never sat idle for 8 hours.

Ugh, I shouldn't have read the article(or written my posts, were full of typos) when I was in quite a hurry this morning.. I thought it triggered when either condition was met, but I read it through properly now and see that when BOTH conditions were true, that's when it triggered. Aswell as it was indeed introduced in the initial release. Makes perfect sense now.. And sorry @C DM, I didn't read your posts through properly either, terribly sorry!
