I haven't read the whole thread, but don't backgounded location relaying apps only give you the general location, by using cell tower triangulation, because GPS uses a lot of battery life?

You can choose both with this app. And it's true that GPS eats your battery faster.

Apple doesn't allow GPS background location, only cellular and WiFi.

typical after just buying the app.

I'm of the opinion that this chap is closer to the dev than he's letting on.

You defend the app to the hilt and also come up with a promo code... hmmmm

I am not connected to the dev in any way. I just think it´s a cool app, that´s all.
