It's rumored the update will be released later this afternoon..

I did have the MMS software installed via "hack" but I restored from the original 3.1 Update in iTunes, Because I wasn't able to receive any video or photos on my iPhone 3G, But I was able to send photos to my friend's 3GS, So the MMS features are gone until AT&T releases the actual update via iTunes.

Hopefully they will release it soon!

Being MMS enabled goes by groups, so if you are still unable to send MMS, wait a bit, you eventually will.

if you have the 5.1 carrier file already installed...it works.

all opt out codes have been removed.

EDIT: No I kept pressing Check for Updates in iTunes. It installed the settings, then you need to reboot the phone.

MMS successfully sent in Central New Jersey

Phone doesn't even work now.

I can't make outgoing calls today... keep failing.
Wonder if this has anything to do with a massive amount of use due to the MMS release today. Anyone else having issues?
