It won't be bluetooth as these aren't bluetooth devices. But yes, the other radio. It’s probably just using Bluetooth signal strength to estimate distance. There’ll be no directionality that UWB enables.

Same here. Open the TV Remote app on my iPhone, and don't see anything resembling Find My.has anyone actually figured out how to find my remote with tvos17 and ios17? I have installed both, cannot find the option to do so.
The only wireless radio Siri Remote uses is Bluetooth 5.0It won't be bluetooth as these aren't bluetooth devices. But yes, the other radio.
doesn’t look like it’s available right now, I can’t see the remote as wellhas anyone actually figured out how to find my remote with tvos17 and ios17? I have installed both, cannot find the option to do so.
Or it's not available. Thanks reklex.doesn’t look like it’s available right now, I can’t see the remote as well
It’s there, but no on-screen controls are present. When the Remote app is open, you can use the volume buttons on your iPhone/iPad to control volume on your TV!Sure, which is great to have, but still lacks volume control. Or has this changed in iOS 17? At least the physical remote has this this ability…
Likely Bluetooth time of flight, they do the same to approximate the distance between the Apple Watch and a Mac for the unlock feature.Yeah but how does this really
Work?

Works when I've used the phone app. Plus I appreciate having an actual keyboard screen pop up in search fields.Sure, which is great to have, but still lacks volume control. Or has this changed in iOS 17? At least the physical remote has this this ability…
Volume is supported for airplay speakers, not for anything else because obviously your phone doesn’t have an IR blaster.Sure, which is great to have, but still lacks volume control. Or has this changed in iOS 17? At least the physical remote has this this ability…
This is not true. Volume control is supported via HDMI.Volume is supported for airplay speakers, not for anything else because obviously your phone doesn’t have an IR blaster.

It'll likely work similar to how the 'Find My' feature works on AirPods Pro 1st gen - relying on bluetooth signal strength so it isn't the most accurate and usually takes a while to connect. Maybe the 3rd generation remote will get a U1 chip. How does this work tho? I thought there was no U1 chip
