noooo Dino, you missed my point.. I'm always on IUP but I never hand the phone back to apple at the end! why give them £200!...I'm confused???!

So picked up the beauty of a midnight green at 8.30 from the apple store.
IUP was a breeze... took about 5 mins! got them to install a screen protector too.
refund of burner phone and case was a breeze..
have a clear apple case to boot! tempted to get the green silicon one as well
its still in its box, need a cup of tea!

How much do they charge to install the screen protector? Been pondering this one
Damn I hate the kerbs in the car park in the oracle centre Reading.
no charge to install.. just pay the £30 for the belkin protector... pretty steep but its a perfect fit
Just an FYI: I was expecting two deliveries via DPD today - Apple Watch and iPhone.
I had the iPhone tracking appear in the DPD app - so paid for the upgrade. It was delivered just as I left for work (left at home, rushing). But only one parcel...
Managed to get the tracking for the Apple Watch - it's being delivered between 5pm - 6pm by the same DPD driver. So he'll be coming back later... What a waste of resource.

EE iPhone 11 Pro order via telephone for collection in store
Not had any updates since the SMS from EE last night saying the phone is with the courier, and I should expect my delivery slot via SMS “shortly”. Still not heard anything from them this morning. Hopefully get a text when I come out of my meeting at 11:30.
EE’s own tracking page has also updated:

Your new iPhone 11 Pro 256GB Gold is now with our courier, DPD. You'll shortly receive an SMS with your delivery slot.
I’m very close to the store due to the location of this meeting, so I was hoping it’d arrive this morning so I could go straight there.

That’s where I drove to. Dunstable to collect. It wasn’t an option on the tracking but I called to see if I could have a morning slot. Said no but could hold it at the depot.
Off to shoot in Ibiza this week and flying tonight so perfect timing!
And this photo is making me question my choice of Midnight Green again!! I did think in store this morning that the silver would be a good choice if going naked.
I know! The wife chipped her alloy the other day when exiting, that kerb is hard to see on the left hand side getting into the down ramp.

I've got an installation tray (though the phone is meant to be a smidge longer/wider), but the steam is to help prevent dust/lint landing on the screen when installing.
