For anyone wondering if you can go in earlier than your collection time, the answer is yes but you may have to queue for a bit - my time was at 6pm but after waiting in the queue for around 30mins I have got my Space Grey 256GB 11 Pro!

Also - in terms of moving your current Watch over to your new iPhone, you do not need to unpair it - just backup to iCloud, and when you set up the new phone using iCloud it'll ask you if you want to pair your Watch with your new iPhone - easy peasy!

You all realise that whenever you speak to someone at Amazon you’re speaking to a far away contractor who is trained to give vague statements right? That 2-3 business days stuff is completely standard.

Yes, I believe so to. IMHO, it will be delivered the day after it has been dispatched (it’s alway been so for me in the past)

Amazon phone is being delivered by Royal Mail, no delivery window.
It will be special delivery, so at least you know you’ll have it by 1pm.
Face down in the box is an interesting change

Guess it’s all about the colour and cameras this year. Apple want to make sure you notice those first lol.

*waves* Good luck to you too! 😃

I've got an installation tray (though the phone is meant to be a smidge longer/wider), but the steam is to help prevent dust/lint landing on the screen when installing.
👍

I like ESR screen protectors from Amazon - a two pack is about £8. They come with a fitting frame, just drop in the glass & no more problems lining up - see c. 1 min into this video:

Thanks for this! My slot isn't until 7pm so I'll go straight from work and try to be seen before that! What store was it out of curiosity?

And this photo is making me question my choice of Midnight Green again!! I did think in store this morning that the silver would be a good choice if going naked.

I cancelled my green and went for silver because with the colourful cases Apple release, the green camera square will just look odd. Silver is move universal to me.

Can't go wrong with any of them though!

Well that’s wasn’t very helpful. I mean, you had 21st as your arrival date from the beginning.

Is iUP £69 as ‘month 1’ and then the monthly payments are 2-12 (until you hit the renewal point) - or is it £69 + £56 in one hit?

I have received exactly the same email.

I'm tempted to cancel if I can find a phone in stock locally (no luck so far)!

Oh, nice! The guys organising the queues were great too - even though I was early, I was still put in the queue for people with reservations (there was one for walk-ins) which was ideal.
Did you happen to find out if they had much walk-in stock for iPhones or watches?

Does anyone know when the pick-up in Apple Store option will be available again? Is it usually after a few days or even longer?

Sorry, didn't ask - one guy did get put in the queue for a Series 5 that I heard, and I think someone for a phone (possibly an 11 but not sure as didn't catch all of what they said)
Cheers! I've got two iPhones to pickup but the Mrs has changed her mind on colour and also wants a series 5 so we'll have to see what they've got left. Enjoy your iPhone!
