Ok first issue, how do i charge my MacBook whilst its restoring from backup..

Plug it in and restore over WiFi? Is that possible?

I have a one hour time slot & the map was on the page saying he’s on the way to delivery number one - but the map has disappeared!

Still stating the one hour delivery window though which has just started!

I’m just down the A5 from Dunstable and my delivery slot is 3-4pm
Maybe they start at the furthest address and work back towards the depot

Amazon phone has arrived. Was shipped 1pm Special Delivery. Just left it outside my door. No signing. Only knew it was there because Amazon app told me.

DPD phone here within minutes.

Well, they told me twice I was to have mine tomorrow. All of a sudden an email arrived saying they were out of stock and they couldn’t give me a date when it was to be back in stock.

I cancelled my order. 😣

Honestly most of the time you will chat to an offshore representative and they will see little more than what we see when we view our order. I may also cancel mine if it slips. It was an (expensive) impulse buy so I may just pop the money back in the savings and continue to use my X. We shall see!

If DPD have driven past and not stopped, DPD don't seem to allow their drivers to scan packages early, which I'm sure must be for a very good reason.

Last year the DPD driver was 2 hours late. I "hunted" hm for over 45 minutes. Finally caught him 1 mile from my work... He wouldn't give it to me, although he was willing to follow me to my office as their GPS needs to be right to scan things out... So it's unlikely but possible. At 8PM I was willing to do it. No unfortunately not, the driver can only deliver between the time slot provided and within the geofence of your postcode area.
